How are we looking today, P.A.?

Ron Paul is right when he always says, "The Revolution is alive and well." It certainly is, and it's growing by the day. Just imagine what we can do with 2 years before the next congressional election, let alone 4 before the next presidential election.

We have a winner here!

We did our best. I cant wait to see the delegate results come in. I am expecting we will pick up about 10-15 RNC delegates here.

maybe if Steve Parent was here helping we could have got like ten thousand delegates or something ;)

This makes me happy...:D:D:D... I am ready to know the delegate count too. For all who worked in PA, GREAT JOB! I really believe the R3VOLUTION is alive and well! Now i'm off to get some sleep.

128,188 with 99% reporting.

We done good.

Congrats to my neighbor, Crawford County:

McCain: 61%
Paul: 23%
Huck: 16%

We kept McCain down to 69% here, not bad.

wow!

I am sooooo happy for you all in PA. And proud of you too :)

When I get depressed, overwhelmed or exhausted by the stunning acts of savagery, treason, and disinformation carried out by the imperialists.... or the willful ignorance of many Americans.... I will myself into finding some reason to have hope. This time, you have done that for me.

"Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle. The world you desired can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours."

great job, and thank you for not giving up and for not losing hope..

128,000 ???

Oh my god! 128,000 voted for Ron Paul! That is so amazing!
It would be awesome if all 128,000 Pennsylvanians plus their children come down to D.C. and march with us! Only less than 2 to 6 hours drive! Come one come all!
:D

what? Someone who would switch from a Ron Paul supporter to a DEM supporter (especially during a primary) may not have been aware of everything else at stake. The delegates are laying the groundwork for the future. Well, at least you got out there Colin. Thanks for the vote. Every vote helps.

Thanks Truth...she's a lib Dem at heart and I worked long and hard to get her to switch parties to vote for Ron in our primary (it's closed). She got a lot of grief from family over it, but she recognized that Ron was something special and different. She also was willing to go all out in maxing our contributions so I couldn't really give her a hard time about switching back. Being a registered Republican was pretty distasteful for her, and honestly with the neo-con hacks running the show, pretty distasteful for me as well. :D

oh...i just gotta say it:

So much for New Hampshire, looks like here in PA we have more libertarian minded folks. See what unrestricted immigration has done to NH, they've been flooded with Massholes! :D

Winning a primary.

130,000 votes would WIN Nebraska on May 13.
Wouldn't it be neat if Ron Paul could at least pretend that Nebraska was just as important as PA for a couple of weeks? Taking 16% of the votes in PA made the NY Times. What do you think WINNING a primary would do?:)

They'd focus on the democrats endlessly regardless.

There would be a few mentions... but you know what. It will quite literally, make it so fken obvious - I dunno wtf wld happen.
- RON PAUL WON A PRIMARY?!?!
- yea, and you didn't hear shit about it.
- WTF is up with that!

- Yet. The sheep continue to sleep.

Lets hope, something seriously pisses them off. Like, I dunno - a depression, may do it?

Hugest Congratulations, Pennsylvanians!

With literally every obstacle in your way (lack of media, or when there is media - negative spin, lack of campaign support, voter apathy, ... ), to pull 128K votes for Ron Paul is absolutely huge.

His numbers are not dwindling. They are growing. Growing! In the face of such opposition, they are growing.

People can be awakened. This campaign season can change course.

Congratulations, Pennsylvania.

Ok, this is a beautiful quote!

Thanks for this.

It reminded me of this one from Marianne Williamson, made popular by Nelson Mandela:

Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us.
We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us.
It is not just in some; it is in everyone.

And, as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

I hold the notion, they're not being suppressed as much as before. Still quality stuff! :D Good job guys

It would put the MSM in a serious quandry. It might even make the subject of Louisiana less taboo...

I'm sure it would be covered, I feel like it'd get treated just as so much of the local convention excitement is getting treated, as if we're somehow the bad guys. I wouldn't be surprised at all if a win, or even numbers that get closer to 50-50 in a primary, get dismissed as anomalies, or worse, get labelled with suspicion as some kind of rigging by RP folks.

I guess this should be expected since we're in the "and then they fight you" stage.

The day that some in the mainstream media actually begin reporting with sincerity that the RP movement is actually 'the good guys' -- well, I guess that'll be in the "and then you win" category.

My little pet theory is that PA did better than NH for several reasons:

1. More time to inform people, good grassroots in PA. I always saw signs here and there. Bumper stickers. A motorcycle in downtown PGH that had all kinds of RP stuff on it.
2. Fewer options other than McCain, no Romney.
3. The vote for RP or Huck is one that is a message, rather than a vote to actually get someone the nomination. The 11% voting for Huck obviously did the same thing, unless they're completely oblivious to the fact he dropped out (unlikely.)

Even those who didn't think Ron Paul was viable often liked his message and his push for smaller government and lower taxes, they just couldn't see him being the president, is my guess. It's a different atmosphere now that McCain has the nomination tied up, for all practical purposes.

Still, the results we got in NH. Jesus.
