How are we looking today, P.A.?

these cast after the suspension votes for romney and huckabee
definately are not votes for bush or mccain, again!!! the rules are
the rules, an' yes, they could be indirect votes for the good doctor!

Rush Limbaugh has been doing his "Operation Chaos" thing to get Republicans to vote for Hillary. Hope it has an effect and there are that many fewer Republicans to vote for McCain, improving RP's numbers.

We have slate card people passing out cards in the top 10 or so precincts in Centre County (approx 25% of the vote for the CD comes from this county). We also have decent coverage in Clearfield, Cameron, Clinton, Venango, Tioga, Jefferson, and Elk counties. Signs have been up all over the district for the last 2 weeks thanks to Mark B., Darl J., Don F., Don G., and John H.

At my poll location (second largest in Centre County), there was another poll attendant (for a local campaign) who was quite obviously trying to get me to publicly pledge my allegiance to RP. He had a condescending/mocking demeanor and referred to Paulites as "Rainbow People" (not quite sure what he meant). He said that he was supporting McCain.

I hope we can sweep the CD 5 delegates!

Did he try to take your lunch money too?

They'd have had to switch parties before the deadline to do it. Closed primary.

Sounds like they're mostly staying home. Let's hope we aren't.

He was claiming on his show today that the 314,000 newly registered Democrats were solely due to "Operation Chaos" (key ominous music). Lol.

I think not.

But I share your hope that they stay home instead of voting for McCain.

More like Operation KAOS. Does he use his shoe as a microphone? Let's chip in a buy him a cone of silence!

i just voted right outside pittsburgh, the lady said there were 15 Republicans before me. They kept sugesting to write in a democract.

Update from the polls: Almost all Dems. Actually had someone go "ecch" when I mentioned the word Republican.

Another guy said this: You look like a nice young lady, you don't look like a Republican. I thought it was kinda funny, but some other woman was offended. Heh.

Some cantankerous old bat who became a Democrat just to vote against Hillary, latched on to me extolling the virtues of a McCain/Tom Ridge ticket. She was ranting about how Obama is black on the outside, and Hillary's black on the inside and, gosh darn it, that's a damned good reason to vote and everyone who votes for her are a bunch of idiots (meanwhile I'm standing there across from three Hillary supporters.) Good times.

Ran into one confirmed Ron Paul Republican. Not having any trouble with any GOP shenanigans.

Very few Obama people, it seems.

Im in CD 11 i cast my votes for RP and the delegates and alternates this afternoon. My town is pretty much 99% democrat and from the time i spent down there i am pretty sure only one other guy was a republican and voted for McCain out of about 150 people that i came across. I might go back around 5 when people get out of work maybe there will be atleast a few republicans.

By the way at my polling place it doesn't even seem like they even check if you are a republican or democrat when they pop the cartrige in the machine which i find kind of strange since we are a closed primary.

Not the way they've been voting, we don't. Not today. Let 'em stay home today if all they know how to do is follow the liberal media's idea of who should and shouldn't be voted for. Their conservative hands will stay cleaner that way.

Well, with the exception of the one identified Ron Paul supporter, I come off as neutral--so even if they're voting McCain, they just might at least also be voting for our delegates. Ha!

Im back home for one more break before I go out for the evening rush at the polls.

About 99% democrats voting today. The few republicans I have found said they will vote for our slate of delegates. We have the top 30 or so polls in philly covered with our people, but there are around 200 voting locations, so I am not sure if we have enough to win here.

I have met one republican watching the polls who is very freindly and is trying to network me with high ranking republicans in the area. Good conversation.

On another note, I got interviewed by cspan and will be on this evening between 8 and 10
I also got interviewd for the Bill Maher show and will be on this Friday night.

Are you going to make us ask the question? :)

"What, if anything, did you say about Ron Paul?"

I know there is always a high likelyhood it gets edited out, but would be curious to know what to look for when I watch Cspan.

Most people in NH are "undeclared" aka indies and can vote for either side however they need to register for that party before they do, they can unreg after they have voted.

Sorry I do not know your answer about Penn call the Campaign.

It is closed. But wasnt NH also closed, and their were Paul votes counted on the dem side, as well as the other repubs????

The Cspan interview was 100% about Ron Paul. They cant edit it out.

The Bill Maher interview had very little to do with Ron Paul.

We really have a chance of getting 40 delegates dont we. We are sure they are unbound and if elected can cast the 1st ballot for Paul. Is it possible for the GOP to make rules later on to force delegates to vote for McSain.
