I don't have the numbers in front of me, however I can tell you that there has to be extremely strong showings in Texas and California. Also, I am hearing some pretty good things coming out of Mississippi. Hopefully this is true and can happen in the rest of the South (but its not going to be easy), which is why a large emphasis is being placed on the caucus states such as Nevada, and rightfully so.

Let me also add that I'm not so certain that the reports of Dr. Paul "skipping" Florida are completely accurate. I've heard several people in Florida claim to have gotten some mail (flyers/brochure/whatever you call it) supporting Dr. Paul. I couldn't figure out who sent it, but there is certainly some activity, so I think to say he is "skipping" Florida is a bit of a stretch. Its a winner take all state, so it certainly doesn't make sense to go all in, but I think they still want a fairly respectable showing.

There are essentially only two ways to win through the GOP. Ron is not going to go 3rd party so I'm not even going to touch that.

1) Keep gaining momentum to become the anti-Romney candidate and eventually beat out Romney (win a few states). This will be tough. Do not believe that the establishment GOP and MSM will give this up without a fight.

2) Keep battling MSM and the establishment GOP, finish 2nd/3rd consistently, but pick up delegates stealthily, secretly and consistently. Brokered convention and we win if we do our homework and have the numbers.

Because option 1 is tough, we should be cheering on Ron's momentum, but be vigilant and do our homework by getting ourselves into delegate positions to be prepared for option 2. a candidate has to have 50% of the delegates to be the nominee. if theres not a candidate with 50% then it goes to a vote of the uncommitteds. after that a lot of delegates across are then released and free to vote for who they want. If 50% is not achieved then it goes to a second and third round where another number of states delegates are released to vote for whoever they want..
different states have different rules on which round how many delegates are released from committed and are free to vote. eventually one candidate gets 50% of the vote and becomes gop nominee

Yes, and if we do our homework on the ground, then many of these delegates which are pledged to another candidate will actually be Ron Paul delegates. Once they are free to vote for who they want - watch out world.

in SC i hope we win 60% of the districts,romney 10,scrotum and the rest 30 in total. and romney by virtue of being second in all districts where he didnt win,totals up to first -almost like iowa(where he won far les than scrotum).this means ,while romney might win the MSM headline vote,we steal most of the delegates. stealth is our secret

I'm becoming more and more worried that the establishment supporters, banks, powers-that-be, are going to feed Newt and Santorum enough money just to linger around in the race and keep it divided for Romney. I was worried about this after nobody dropped following New Hampshire and Bill Kristol basically called for this strategy today on Fox News.

We have to seize control of this and we have to do it soon.

We have to take up an issue that the American people want taken up but never get it.

We have to take up border defense and we have to do it BEFORE another candidate does and runs with it.

Border security, BELIEVABLE border security, is in my opinion the key to over coming Romney whether the others remain in the race or not.

Anyone who has been an avid listener of talk radio long enough has heard the calls and the cries and the frustration over our open borders. This has been an issue for decades and to be quite frank the American people are sick and tired of it. They feel betrayed and they feel like Washington is selling them out for cheap labor and leftist votes. More over, whenever a politician talks about border security the American people know it's a pack of lies.

The American people may have been manipulated into believing some aspects of Ron Paul's foreign policy are suspect. They do, overwhelmingly I believe, respect Ron Paul for being an honest man and a straight shooting candidate though. If he takes that reputation and seizes the issue of border security Americans will vote for him.

Even when the media avoids the border so that it isn't a campaign issue it IS one issue the American people don't need to be lead on about. They don't need the media to tell them to care or not to care. THEY DO CARE.

If Ron Paul offers the American people the REAL PROMISE of secured borders so there's not millions of foreign nationals flooding into the south west he will get the votes because of it.

I guarantee you.

Ron Paul needs to take up border security and he needs to do it NOW before another candidate does and he needs to make clear that even if the other candidates talk about it he knows and the American people know they'll do nothing once in office.

This is the key to over taking Romney.

This has been nagging at me for 2 weeks or so now. Ron's numbers are great, but they're not good enough to win this nomination. What is the plan? Wait and hope for Americans to wake the hell up in time? This is just a prayer. It may indeed come true, but it remains a prayer. It's not a strategy.

I've said this before, but it seems that our best shot is an economic collapse that proves RP right on all counts. That will wake up the whole damn country fast.

Assuming that doesn't happen in time, how are we supposed to compete, realistically?
