Great. Another 3 trillion will be added to the national debt.

Good thing we threw Rand under the bus and dodged that bullet!

Oh, wait...

Republicrats = Demopublicans. It's still true.

It has become abundantly clear with this COVID19 situation that the Democrats are not letting this crisis go to waste. They see their chance to finally destroy the current society and economy. The first rule of Communism is to turn everyone into a poor, dependent prole, except for the leadership of course. Pelosi won't be eating out of a garbage can.

They want destruction, because they believe it will bring them absolute power. Release the criminals from prisons, put the homeless into hotels, shut down the livelihoods of as many people as possible, and enough debt to destroy anything that is left.

We're not all in this together from 1500 miles apart. Let the federal government make Wall St. brokers sell their Ferraris and build an opera house in Dogspoor, Nebraska.

Government is on its way. Get your bid in and maybe it'll happen.

https://www.fool.com/investing/2020/04/30/goldman-sachs-predicts-another-1-trillion-in-feder.aspx

Congress has already approved close to $2.7 trillion in fiscal aid to states, businesses, and individuals to cushion the blow of the coronavirus pandemic. And according to a new report from Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS), another $1 trillion could be coming out of Washington in the next two fiscal years.

The GOP will put up a show fight to bring it down to $2T, and then claim victory over the Dems.

Sounds about right, or maybe add an amendment banning transgender panda-kin folk from buying bicycles, or something, and claim victory.

Either way, there will be boodle, thousands of billions of boodle, and the hearts of K Street will overfloweth with joy.

Must be an election year. Time for the GOP to pretend to be fiscally conservative.

Trump and GOP slowly folding like the cheap suits they always are. $1.8T GOP current offer, compared to $2.2T Dem demand.

Will my original $2T prediction of largesse in post #3 pan out exactly?

Mitch holding the line . Presiding over the senate that has passed the least amount of house bills ever . Mitch , future Great American .
