And what if something were to happen to RP during his service? Do you expect Chris Christie to be trustworthy enough to adhere to RP's positions?

I honestly don't know, but realpolitick leads me to believe that Ron Paul would have to chose a more 'moderate' running mate if he does win the primary.

And as much paranoia as I have, I think information flow is far different today than it has been in the past so the chances of a successful knock-off are much lower now than they were in the 60's.

Let me say up front, as I’ve said before, that these numbers are legitimate — they represent one vote per voter. So, Ron Paul’s people have come out in force, and thus have put him into the fourth spot.
