Homemade match rockets (these look fun)

Could just buy some cheap Chinese bottle rockets.

Fins on a match rocket? That's new.
Used to make these as a kid and IIRC, we used paper matches.
Fun stuff!

Check out candy (aka sugar) rockets.

I'd like to report successful kitchen launch.

5 year old very impressed with today's science class homeschool lesson.

:D

Interesting to note... 3 match heads drills the wall on the other side of the dining room pretty hard.

If you make these, just remember to store them in a BATFE compliant Type-1, Type-2, or Type-4 storage container.

It's the law.

I filled a tennis ball with match heads and ignited it with a fuse one time. It flew about 90 miles an hour bouncing and turning every which way for about 5 to 10 seconds.

Good times.

I am fresh out of those.Should my local fire dept give those away with smoke detectors ?
