"As Comptroller General of the United States and head of the GAO, there are real limitations on what I can do and say in connection with key public policy issues, especially issues that directly relate to GAO's client -- the Congress," Walker said in a statement.

He said he would become president and chief executive officer of the newly established Peter G. Peterson Foundation, which would "educate and activate" Americans while supporting "sensible policy solutions" on various issues.

And who is Peter G. Peterson? He's the Chairman of the Council on Foreign Relations!

Bump! this could develop into something interesting that will affect the 2008 election in a big way, I predict.

That would have been the perfect guy for our team?

BTW, is he on the list of speakers for the march? I think so, but too lazy to check.

If anybody has a way to contract him, please beg him to speak.

LOL, he's got another thing coming if he's pissed at these NWO operations and thinks he's escaping them by running to the CFR.

I sure don't blame him for leaving an impossible situation, BUT to run to the CFR??? Now that's strange . . . . .

Sounds like he was forced to resign, probably as a result of his recent statements about the poor state of government financing, etc.

They probably handed him resignation papers and a CFR contact number at the same time. Obviously this man needs brainwashing or he might write an authoritative book on the national debt and its source, the Federal Reserve. We can't have that.

Who has contact info? Walker could not endorse a presidential candidate while he held his GAO office. Now that he's leaving, however.....

So much of what he has said sounds just like Ron Paul. If only we could get him to start telling people that Ron Paul is the only one who makes any sense at all. That could help so much!

This guy sees what's coming, probably even better than we do. He's been trying to make people understand for a long time. Maybe he's finally had enough and lost all hope. If he's lost hope of fixing things, what better place to take shelter from the coming storm than under a CFR umbrella? The rest of us don't even have that choice. Not saying I would take it - just pointing out the sad truth. :(

Joining the bad guys is a pretty risky and dangerous move, IMO

I thought he had to be a a guy with his head screwed on right to blast at gov't runaway spending, but when I read about his bio (at wiki), he worked at Arthur Andersen, LLC. You know, that corrupt accounting firm connected in Enron scandal.

Am still figuring out what to make of this.

You can write to him here:

David M. Walker
Comptroller General
Government Accountability Office rm 7100
441 G St., NW
Washington, DC 20548

LOL!

Wow, I was so hoping David Walker would keep spreading the word. I've passed around his interview on 60 Minutes and that has opened some eyes, big time.

By the way... If you haven't read the Wikipedia entry... Peter G. Peterson was chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York 2000-2004.

perhaps he's nt running TO the CFR...... perhaps he is on our team and realizes it sucks and had to give up the political position to do anything about it?

*wishful thinking probably*

From what I know about this man, it might have been "an offer he couldn't refuse!"

They are making a concerted effort to hide the demise of the US economy.

Notice that the government's website for economic indicators is being de-funded too. http://www.economicindicators.gov/ It has the message: Due to budgetary constraints, the Economic Indicators service (http://www.economicindicators.gov) will be discontinued effective March 1, 2008. at the top of it. Which reminds me of Bush's deciding to quit printing the M3 or the money supply so that the amount that he is inflating the money supply, the definition of inflation -- or as Paul calls it -- The Inflation Tax, will be hidden from view too. They are playing us for fools and most of the sheeple are falling for it. The M3 has been recreated a few places from public information, here is one site:

Wake up people!
