Hmmmm Twitter says Ron Paul 2nd...

Well Ron very possibly could have a great showing considering it is an open primary and he will most certainly get a lot of the Blue Republican votes.

Obviously we're shooting for 3rd today if only to beat out Santorum, but 2nd would have me elated.

Id love to see santorum get a distant 4th place, slinking out of the race with his tail shielding his genitals like the beta dog he is.

A little off-topic. I don't have twitter, figure to get it ... but would you suggest using an alias or real name etc..

This article is nothing but BS. Twitter does not accurately tell how people will vote. Ron Paul has continuously had high twitter mentions from around the nation--this does not tell whether people in SC are getting ramped up over Dr. Paul. If I'm wrong, I'll eat my words, but so far twitter traffic means nothing.

I said it was interesting... and encouraging btw... not scientific..

I am venturing a guess that where the PPP poll and twitter differ for each candidate is an indication of the media bias pushing their poll numbers above the respective candidates actual support. Let's hope this is an accurate indicator. We should revisit this tonight after we see the results.

I'm also concerned about Paul's polling numbers. Anything over 15% is a win in some sense even if he finishes last. Why? Its still positive momentum to score more than that national average of 14%.
