High Tide Airtime - Planning Schedule Now

What about Cartoon Network?

Personally, the Adult Swim time slot, starts at 10pm CST ... but I would think it would be neat on there at anytime.

Ha ha that's a $4000 spot.....I wish.

History channel past 7pm is my only suggestion... let us know when you have them locked in...
nice work!!!

Don't do MTV. Most people who watch MTV won't be voting. Besides, the times there are when most people don't watch it.

I'd definitely still say no to MTV. Most people who watch MTV are younger girls... they wouldn't care or understand.

If it turns out that the MTV thing is the only real thing left within the price range, I'd go for it. If you can spend that 180 dollars in anything else, I think it would be a better use..

It's still a waste of money though............................ most 15 year old girls don't vote. O.o

IMO I would rather skip MTV altogether. We could put that $360 somewhere else where viewers actually vote. I agree with stormcommander.

I forgot to ask, are these the rates for political ads? You might be able to get a discount.

Well, it's not that important, but MTV probably does have a different audience than the other channels you selected, granted most are younger and don't/can't vote.

We shouldn't throw it around as much as possible though. Instead, let's make logical choices =)

I tend to agree on the MTV because it seems like they play alot of American Next Top Model lat night. I does depend on what is playing. I would maybe go more CNBC. Dr. Paul is getting alot of love from financial types.

Rather than donate to the campaign, we all should have probably bought ad spots. Think about it....a flood of Ron Paul on tv

It doesn't depend on what they're playing really. Have you ever watched it? How much do you want to bet that close to no Republican voters watch MTV? =)

I wonder what would have happened if grassroots had gathered up about 5 million and dumped it into TV ads in Iowa and NH.. hmm.. we'll never know. .... but.. . if we gather up a big wad of cash and air this ad in PA we'll know.

so go here and donate.. http://alcpac.chipin.com/the-high-tide-airtime

Is anyone watching those channels at that time? I assume it's cheap for a reason.

Might as well I suppose. It would be helpful if we had another grand or two :)

yes.. I don't watch most of the channels you've picked, so if I were in Philly I probably wouldn't see the ad. And yes, as you get more money you can spread the ad around to different channels and times.

Also, can you split the market up? I looked into ads in Charlotte and I found that I could totally saturate several smaller counties for $5k a week but the same $5k would only last a couple of days of sparse coverage for the entire region (and probably not be very effective). I thought it might be interesting to saturate a few counties with ads and get people to canvas those counties and see what happens.

Ditch the ads on MTV..
