High quality DVD

Well, most of the material is from high resolution sources. Some of the high resolution sources, however, contain low resolution material within them. This is probably the best quality Ron Paul DVD available at this time. If you know of a better one, or have suggestions to improve this one, please reply to this thread.

The extra clips have been updated since the first release of this DVD in September.

It is available via bittorrent here. This is the best way to download it. I recommend using the bittorrent client available at http://www.utorrent.com. After you download the .ISO file, use your DVD burning software to burn the image.

Here are the links to download from Rapidshare. This is going to take some work to download. You should try downloading with bittorrent first.

After you download ALL of these files, double click part 1 to start the extraction. It will put all the files together for you and extract the disk image file, which has an .ISO extension. Then use your DVD burning software to burn the image.

Yes, it's the same one. Sorry for the confusion. I got a lot of emails about the last post asking for another way to download other than bittorrent, so I just started the new thread because the old thread is full of links that aren't much use anymore.

You may give that "other" one a shot.


On a side-note, one of the peers pulling from me right now is in Turkey, and another looks like Philipines! Global, baby!

Well, I don't know where the torrentportal.com one came from. I just posted to thepiratebay.org. BUT, both of these are for the same ISO image, which is the correct one. If it has V2 (for version 2) in the name, it's the newest one.

I think thetorrentportal.com is just crawling other sites and lisiting them. If you look at the tracker info, it's for thepiratebay.org. It's posted at mininova.com also, again with thepiratebay.org tracker. So wheverever you find it, as long as it says V2, it's connecting to the same torrent as all the others, in the same swarm.

I had a connection from Korea earlier, btw.

I have 2 seeds running right now. One at home on DSL, and one at the office on a pair of bonded T1s, running 3mb upload. I throttle that one down during the day because I don't want to bog the company network. But at night it's full speed bittorrent!

Another Revision Coming Soon

Just a heads up. Another artist has provided a high quality version of their video to replace the Youtube quality video included in this DVD. I guess he was just slow to respond. Anyway, I will be updating the DVD in the next day or two to include this. Also, I found that I made a minor transcoding error in creating this DVD. The next DVD in a day or two will be progressive, not interlaced, so you will see some quality improvement and the jaggies around text will be gone. You may or may not notice the difference. It was a dumb mistake, you can flame me if you want.

If you already burned copies, don't worry about it, it's not that major of a change. But if you haven't, you may want to download again. I'll let you know when the new torrent is up, so check back here tomorrow.

I'm a perfectionist too, but I have 250+ more DVDs of the old original burned to pass out still. They're all valuable. Go for it brother. Just get more media for the new version
