Smart use of the leftover money. We'll be at an approved tourist gathering so we won't get tased and we'll have paid for the microphone so he'll get to speak. Hope they post the date soon.
Paul campaign aide said the Texas congressman hopes to pack about 11,000 supporters into the Williams Arena at the University of Minnesota on Sept. 2, which coincides with the second day of the Republican National Convention at the Xcel Energy Center in neighboring St. Paul.
The place Paul rented can hold only 11,000?
How's it going to outdraw McCain's convention?
How far is the Venue from the RNC event?
"You know he's going to get his 15 minutes on national news."
I'd be hoping for much more than that. This is Dr. Paul planting the seeds of the peaceful revolution and since the media has marginalized him to date, it is more than time for him to be able to "farm" and go to market. What will increase those 15 minutes....huge numbers, huge applause....practice fainting in the aisles![]()

It can hold more than 11,000. The article is just saying they hope to draw 11k. Williams Arena can hold close to 19k, which is the same as the Xcel Energy Center the GOP National Convention is at.
