To all the naysayers: Ron Paul will be on his game tonight - and be espescially focused due to all the economic turmoil the country is going through right now. The campaign knows that this debate is extremely important because more than usual, GOP voters will be turned on to this event. I have spoken with Holly, California HQ about the general campaign strategy. I expect pointed and direct questions but not dirty tactics like Fox has known to use.
They are truly not disappointed with our turnouts so far in the early caucuses and primaries says Megan from the Iowa HQ office. Watch for Ron Paul to "let his hair down" so to speak. It's rumored that he has a few quips regarding other candidates ready for "action".
The trend in the debates has shifted to giving Ron Paul more and more time. Polls and focus groups have favored hearing more from the Good Doctor and the "muddled field" is a perfect example of the indecsion of GOP voters. McCain is the current frontrunner, but mainly because voters are assuming he will have the best chance to beat Hlary/Obama.
HQ says Andrew in the Arlington office, has been taking a lot of heat from RP supporters for better performances in the debates and on the campaign trail. RP should hold up his end of the bargain tonight - Florida and Feb. 5th will be up to us.
