when I told him that Cain was the President of the KC Fed Reserve... said he'd never heard that. I asked him why tha twas and he acted really surprised. Said he would def vote for Paul in the primaries, only downside is I'm in AL.
I had a guy walk into my office and say he finally knows who he is voting for.."Herman Cain" he says. I said "you know he was chairman of Fed Reserve MO"..he paused. We went to the computer and I backed it up. He looked at me and said "well, cant vote for that guy now"
Point: Once this gets out he's done!!!!
Have them look up his campaign website biography, he never mentions that he was working with the Fed. Makes you wonder why he is hiding that hmmm... Cain wouldn't lie to you would he? lol
That's because you used logic and math. The reason people support Cain is because he's fluent and charismatic. A lot of Cain supporters I talk to don't even know the half of what he believes. I know what Ron believes better than Ron does (joking).Cain supporters seem to be rather passionate about him, but I think they often don't understand what 999 really is.
I had a back-and-forth with a Cain supporter in the HuffPo comment section recently, and he/she was adamant that 999 is great because it makes the rich pay their "fair share". What they may not understand is the ramifications of the national 9% sales tax as one of the 9's.
Here's the argument I used: Suppose rich families only spend 5% of their income on taxable purchases, in which case they pay 0.05*0.09=0.0045 - or 0.45% - of their income into the national sales tax. Suppose poor families spend 50% of their income on taxable purchases, in which case they pay 0.5*0.09=0.045 - or 4.5% - of their income into the national sales tax.
I haven't heard from the supporter on this subject again.
I hope Cain supporters aren't like Perry supporters. They'll defend ANYTHING.
lol, a lot of people say that about us... but we're right
What annoys me is how much he refers to himself in the thrid person. I've always found that kind of thing disturbing.
I can't tell if he is a "shill" or not. I suspect he is..I can say he at the very least has ideas.
Says he wants to return to Gold Standard but keep the fed. Bashes Ron Paul in this video.
