It always seemed to me that a soldier throwing himself on a live grenade to save 6 or 7 of his buddies was a far for dramatically benevolent act than Jesus being crucified. I mean, Jesus got to save all of humanity and the courageous soldier gave it up for a handful of friends.

Ron Paul also gave free healthcare to those who couldn't afford it. That's charity, not slavery like government healthcare. Jesus and Ron Paul took from no one to pay for giving care to the poor.
