More Info The Values Voter Summit is an annual political conference for American social conservative activists and elected officials from across the United States. Values Voter Summit is hosted by the Family Research Council with numerous conservative organizations sponsoring or otherwise participating in the conference.

A presidential straw poll has been held each year since 2007. In 2007, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney won almost 28 percent of the 5,776 votes cast, edging out former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who finished 30 votes behind him. Texas Rep. Ron Paul finished in third place, with 15 percent of the vote.

28% (1,617 votes) Romney
27% (1,587 votes) Huckabee
15% (866 votes) Paul

Lets help Ron Paul win the straw poll this year!

agreed

this is the most important event that's happening in the northeast / mid-atlantic (minus a few debates) between now and the primaries

This straw poll has been easily winnable by Ron Paul. I don't know why he's made no appearance at VVS for the last three years.

I believe because he has not been invited.

The last time he showed up to one of VV functions, back 2007, he got booed for remarking that Christ is "The Prince of Peace" and maybe wouldn't condone going around the world and incinerating people.

Would be great if the campaign or C4L were giving away free tickets to this event.

Only 2 Possible Outcomes

1- Ron Paul wins (because his supporters are passionate enough to show up)
a- He wins by 1%-10% earning some media coverage
b- He wins in a landslide, earning tons of media coverage

2- Ron Paul doesn't win
Shame on us.
We've got the numbers. We've got the passion. We just cost Ron Paul future supporters
