Help Pass Ron Paul's Signature Legislation - Audit the Fed JULY 24!! Go into RNC w/ this!

Contacted Rep. and Senators that represent Delaware. Surprise, surprise, they're not currently co-sponsors...

Thanks for contacting them!

We need to keep up the pressure until the Audit the Fed bills pass the House and Senate.

Thanks! I'm surprised Ron Johnson hasn't co-sponsored. Don't forget to contact Kohl too. They only take notice of issues when they receive lots of comments on a particular issue.

Emailed Johnson, Kohl, and Kind yesterday. I asked each of them for a reply if they don't support the bill, as to why they don't.

3 new co-sponsors to Ron Paul's HR 459:

Rep Pence, Mike [IN-6] - 5/30/2012
Rep Rogers, Harold [KY-5] - 5/30/2012
Rep Tonko, Paul [NY-21] - 5/30/2012

Keep contacting your Representative and Senators!

Anyone else contact their Reps? It literally takes 5 minutes to write an email and send it to all three of your Congressmen. Just make sure you use the correct bill numbers for the House (HR 459) and Senate (S 202).

We can expect a STRONG push against these bills by the White House, the Federal Reserve AND the media.

If YOU want to see these bills passed, please pressure your Reps.

Even if they are already co-sponsors, thank them for their support and let them know that you will be watching how they vote. Don't just sit on the sidelines and expect things to be done for you.

It takes FIVE MINUTES to call/email all three of your Congressmen and urge them to support HR 459 / S 202.

I thanked Rep. Berg for cosponsoring and asked Sen. Hoeven and Sen. Conrad to also. Hoeven replied, Conrad hasn't yet (He ALWAYS responds to me though).

Dear Mr. [Last Name]:

Thank you for contacting me regarding the Federal Reserve Transparency Act of 2011 (S. 202). I appreciate hearing your views on this matter and welcome the opportunity to respond.

The Federal Reserve implements monetary policy, regulates banking institutions, maintains the stability of the financial system, and provides financial services to depository institutions.

As introduced by Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), S. 202 calls for an audit of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and of the 12 regional Federal Reserve Banks, to be completed by the end of 2012. This legislation has been referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, of which I am not a member. Should this bill come before the full Senate for consideration, I will keep your views in mind.

Again, thank you for contacting me. If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact my office at (202) 224-2551.

Sincerely,

John Hoeven
United States Senator

C'mon team! If we can have a 29+ page thread on weather or not we like being called "Libertarian", we can have more enthusiasm for a bill to END THE FED no?

Either way shameless bump!

In 15 days since this thread started, only 7 people have posted in here saying they've contacted their Congressmen...

It takes 5 minutes to contact your Congressmen. If you need help figuring out who your Rep is or if they are already co-sponsors, let me know. This is too important to not spend 5 minutes to send a couple emails.
