No... he's pretty hardcore... and he's ex military (which doesn't bother me; I was a semester away from becoming an officer myself) which means he is VERY serious and uptight with it.

Give him a copy of Terrorstorm. Seriously though if he's a conservative see what he thinks of America Destroyed by design. It was made before 9/11 and is mostly a Clinton bashing flick though it covers some key issues. Or give him a copy of Beyond Treason. It talks about how the vets have been mistreated. Being ex military that might resonate. Or better yet let daughter dearest borrow these films. You'll have a better chance winning her over then him and she'd have a better chance winning him over than you.

What's really scary is that there's a high level DHS official so far away from D.C. Is he connected to the local OEM? I heard our dear mayor is letting them take over our 911 service in order to "save money".

OK, here's what you do. Wear the same clothes without bathing and don't brush your teeth for a month, let your beard grow out, and start wearing your hair in a ponytail. (Bonus points if you can do like Ted Nugent and crap your pants a day or two beforehand). Get your girlfriend to wear about an inch of padding around her abdomen, then both of you walk into the house when Dad's there and say, "Hey pop, I got her pregnant. Would you score some weed from the evidence locker at work so we can pay for an abortion?" He'll instantly drop dead of a heart attack and the two of you can split the inheritance.

Or he could simply shoot said 'boyfriend' and the friends at work will help him either dispose of the body or ALL swear they were there and "Dad" was simply shooting in self defense.

He is simply just another government employee. The smartest thing that could be done is elect someone who will FIRE them all. And the BATFE, DEA and about a dozen other useless agencies.

It is not the various politicians who bother me as they come and go. It is the bureaucracy that seems to go on forever that worries me.
