its too bad you think that way! Hes the only one that will fight for you... without some more thinkers like him in politics I'm sad that our dollar will plunge and our standing around the world will weaken even more.

Ron Paul is the only person running that will stop spending all of our money overseas. We have troops in 130 countries, he wants to bring all of them home. We spend half of our budget on "defense and military spending" and it is continuing to rise. Do you really think we can afford this empire anymore?

Well the war in Iraq was not even declared, so it is an illegal war. Giving the president to bring the troops home anytime he wants to.

........No...congress didn't vote against brining anyone home. They voted to continue funding troops to stay in Iraq, but the president gets to decide where they are. Hence the title "commander and chief".

He does not need Congress to bring home the troops. Commander in Chief has this power in the Constitution. He does not need Congress to bring them home. A president who pledges, promises not to invoke more Presidential Directives, or other signings made by all of these presidents which make their information into law without any Congressional oversight is important too. Paul will not do this, and will try to overturn the ones from the past. Also, we have elections during the presidency, and we can elect more congress people to help him, but while we wait, he can veto all of their spending bills and bills which attack our national sovereignty. I can give you more...

Well you need to get educated on the issues in order to support the view of Ron Paul. Ignorant people can't understand the issues. It would be useless for u to try to convince your friend solely on "Paul is good and he will bring change". That will not cut it. Get educated so you can educate others.
