Yup! I had someone at work today tell me she did not know much about him but that's what she knew. I have 3 questions.

How is Ron Paul attractive to the lower class? How can I promote him to the lower class? And how can I properly explain Income tax. When I say he want's to lower Income Tax everyone that get's a good refund freaks out like it's there life support. How can I convence them that this is not the correct way!!!!! It's a rigged system! Thanks for any info in advanced.

Another question. My father is a small business owner. He runs his own website company where he makes websites for people. How can I make Ron Paul more attractive for him? Thanks everyone!

They are right, he does hate people being poor. His policies seek to regrow a stronger, more resiliant Middle class. As opposed to the policies of the other guys who seek to make the rich richer and the poor poorer. Having honest money is a big piece of that.

KMX, you're new. We all have been. Use discretion with your thread titles. They are tweeted. For instance, you might want to title it like "Can someone clarify Dr. Paul's position regarding Poverty?"

;)

Explain inflation to them and the effect the Federal Reserve has on the purchasing power of their already-too-few dollars. With less (or no) deficit spending the dollar will become stronger and allow for price stabilization and job/wage growth. Also, he'll get rid of excessive regulations and open up off-shore drilling and domestic drilling in general, this will lead to lower gas prices (helps them already) which will lead to, with less regulations added, lower prices of consumer goods (helps them even more).

As for your dad: less paperwork. Much less paperwork.

Ron Paul is the only candidate who will implement policies that will lower their cost of living and give them more job opportunities at home.

You will never win over people who are going to lose on his policies and there will be a lot of people that do not want to change their life around or their job. Just accept that. My mom is an IRS agent and she is voting for Ron Paul. But she knows full well that she may not be making as much as she does now.

Try the moral argument and then try the practical argument. If neither work move on.

Thanks keep them coming. Very good stuff. I need more. ;0)

Tyler I am not worried about Tweets , I will just post what I feel like the title shoud be. Plus I think it will get more look with the way it is.

Tweets are tracked for each candidate. That would count as a negative tweet for RP.

Since Ron Paul is the only one that is willing to reduce debt and inflation, this means the cost of living will go down as well under his presidency. Decreased Value of the Dollar, means we all become more & more poor.

What you do on your own terms to generate prosperity, is up to you.

That's Ron Paul's economic policy, in a nutshell.

Inflationary monetary policy is directly linked to the destruction of the middle-class and the stagnancy of the lower-income-class as wealth is transferred from the poor/middle class to the wealthy.

http://mises.org/daily/4408

Ron Paul is the only candidate who truly recognizes the problems with inflationary monetary policy and fiat currency. Therefore, Ron Paul is the only candidate who understands how to stop the destruction of the middle class, as well as how wealth-creation actually takes place, thereby empowering the lower/middle-class.

Not only does Ron Paul care; he's quite arguably the ONLY candidate who does care. All of the other arguments--be they about taxes, freer markets, or whatever--are really second to the fact that our monetary policy is categorically destructive.

You should say, "Ron Paul doesn't hate anyone. But his supporters do hate poor people. People with poor morals and a poor education. So yeah, poor it is."

....naw, but seriously...don't say that.

Paul's voter demographic actually skews lower income. If that's due to his higher percentage of youth votes, I'm not sure. I haven't really crunched the numbers.

The biggest tax on the poor and middle class is the evaporating purchasing power by debasing the dollar. Last ten years about 50%, essentially cutting all social security (now and promised in the future), savings, salaries and pension funds in half. The rich can hedge. Who will stop the devastating purchasing power extraction and with it local small business demand and jobs in poor / middle class communities?*

Both republican and democrat establishment have promised to have more of it for their campaign bribers. Stop these 'hidden' banksters tax on the poor and middle class. It's an outrage and has been going on way to long. Wake up!

What the fuck?

Say "Where did you hear a silly thing like that?"

How about NO IRS, and you keep your income taxes! Imaging what one could do with all that extra MONEY!

Often poor people find themselves in jail for a non violent drug crime. Well, get ready for a pardon! Wanna see your dad, uncle or brother out of jail, with their families and children?

If someone agrees with you on 3 other things related or not, the fourth statement should be the close... Know that Ron cares deeply about poor folks.
