So, I'm in high school and my friend is running for Senior Class President, I'm running for VP. We've already got a Facebook page, with almost 50 likes, and we've handed out fliers.

I'm looking for fresh new ideas, or just ideas fresh and new to me. And, seeing as a lot of you people have experience with a real Presidential campaign, I'm asking for advice.

EDIT: Here's some more info,

Both of us are up against incumbents. My friend, running for President, is running against a "popular girl" who has been President since Freshman year. I'm up against a girl who beat out the incumbent last year.

I'm not sure what your high school is like, or what the responsibilities of its class elects are, but in my high school, it was always a popularity contest and the class elects didn't do much of anything important. Every year, our homecoming king/queen and class elects would usually be the same people. Nothing against you though; I'm just throwing my thoughts out there.

Anyways, good luck!

It's still like that. We've already got the troll vote, which (depending on how old you are) might not have existed when you were in school, but further than that it's looking pretty bad.
In all honesty, I'm in it for the lulz. But the biggest lulz will be had if we win.

hahahaha!!! Classic!

I graduated just a few months ago actually. I started a campaign at my high school for everyone to write-in the same guy for homecoming queen. (Don't worry, said guy thought it was hilarious).

That's funny. We made fliers and had people out them up all over school. One short guy even got on the shoulders of a tall guy and put one up on the wall in the area where the Seniors eat lunch. It stayed there for close to a week.

I like to post "modified" quotes from famous historical or pop culture figures endorsing the campaign.
