Hi, I'm finishing my bachelor's degree in Graphic Design at the Art Institute of San Diego.

I just wanted to volunteer my services, for free... I can design any type of print material, door hangers, ads etc. I think Ron deserves some really greatly looking collateral so I'm just throwing my hat out as a possible designer to help, for free. To check out some of my work go to:

feel free to contact me about helping with any designs Mr. Paul needs at

Project from school featuring Ron Paul

Oh, here's something I just remembered. I had a project that featured Ron Paul for school last quarter. I made the USA an updated version of currency. Ron Paul was on the 10 dollar bill! Check it out.

Cool dollar. I know there are a couple people here looking for graphic design work, keep bumping this throughout the day I'm sure someone will contact you.

That's really cool.

I will bookmark your info.

Stay active, we are always in need of artists.

Our group has created moneybomb sites, attack sites, and created many different handouts, etc.

There was also a suggestion that we need to come up with a new Ron Paul sign for 2012...

I would LOVE to work on that.

I think one of the really big things that gets overlooked in campaigns is the design of the signs. I think if you can get Ron Paul's signs and campaign artwork to be instantly recognizable, it adds another dimension to the campaign as a whole. Shepard Fairey, the designer who made Obama's Hope posters, really made a splash with his work on the Obama campaign because it resonated with so many people especially the younger audience.

Overall, I know for me it's blatantly obvious when something has a amateur look to it, graphically whether it's signs, brochures, direct mailers, etc. That said, I don't have any experience working on political signs but I think it would be an honor to help out Ron Paul's campaign and start brainstorming on a new sign or logo.

Ron's campaign will do their own campaign logo I imagine. This site is unofficial and unrelated to campaign actions although the candidates and their staffers may be lurking. ;)

However, you could provide one that the grassroots may rally behind, ala the Ron Paul Revolution logo that Ernest Hancock made for the 2007 campaign. It was easily stenciled and spray painted.

I tried getting the '12on Paul logo going, but it's hard for a person to replicate and spread. Awake took the idea and drew a really nice one that I use in my sig.

Make something and see if it gets picked up. :)

A lot of stuff is still done by hand, but the Adobe Creative Suite is still the staple as far as programs for graphic design.

I've taught myself some photoshop from reading a tutorials book mostly about creating textures, which is what I like doing. Photoshop seems huge though with regard to things you can do. I don't know any of their other software though.

Many of us practice/dabble with PhotoShop on some of our most illustrious threads: Grayson, Conway, Aqua Buddha, and of course, Toady. Those may seem like fun wastes of time, but they develop the skills needed for the approaching campaigns (much as wolf pups at play are develop their predatorial hunting techniques).

I'm also a graphic designer. Well, I primarily am a WEB designer, but similar principles apply, and my degree was in graphic design. I graduated in 2006.

I created that recently, very quickly, to use as a "signature" on another forum. Anyone is free to use it without restriction. It does not have a background so it can be used on any website and look seamless. Of course, it will be difficult to see on websites with dark backgrounds.

I would also volunteer my services to good causes, as needed. :)

I'm a commercial artist & type designer.

I'd be very happy to collaborate with folks here and turn out good work. I'd also like to discuss what we know about art direction within the Paul campaign. Would the campaign see the value in putting out, say, a style guide?

Here's something I passed on to Lew Moore in 2007—not all that fantastic of work, but better than what the campaign had at the time. Nothing came of it to my knowledge.
