Hehe... Should we start to think about taking over a STATE?

What about this idea: All of us freedom-loving people move to a sparsely populated state, like maybe Montana, and fight for our rights there. If need be, we can Constitutionally talk about seceding if they will not listen to us. :D

Right now, I am financially able to pick up and go to a Pro-Freedom state. :D

We did that, with New Hampshire...

I guess America just isn't ready for change... maybe in 2012 when we're in the middle of the real great depression he will get elected... That is if America has not been annihilated already because of our stupid foreign policy pissing of the entire world.

.

No, I'm not talking about elections... I'm talking about all freedom-loving people moving to one state. Then we take over the local politics and refuse to obey un-constitutional federal laws. :)

Federal Law is still the Supreme Law of the land in every state according to the U.S. Constitution.

OMG why does everyone care so much about the Constitution? Your parents can't legitimately commit you to a life of slavery, let alone your great-great-great-great-grandparents. There isn't anything magical about a piece of paper establishing a coercive state apparatus. There is no mystic legitimizing force emanating from its decaying paper.

Theres also the Free State Wyoming group, I don't think they have as much support though.

that's because splitting the vote doesn't help us

focusing on one state and deciding the vote for whichever side we wants makes us a force, and people will look to that for hope and change

Well its real hard to get libertarians and individualists to agree on things sometimes.

New Mexico could be an option, but too many illegals and hispanics.

We need a sparsely populated state, so we can move in and take over. :)

I'm all for this. NH would have been great but it seems like they are just as dumb as the rest, plus the influx of welfare hugging losers from TAXachussets is spoiling all the liberty. Maybe we can help FSP but I don't know after today. We should be jacking a state; honestly. We could all run for congress and state legislature and tell the Feds to go get bent. Where the fuck do I sign.

Wyoming is the place to go, especially if the Lakota Indians can pull off the secession they're attempting.

Like I've said before, read this book, written by a Ron Paul supporter:

Molon Labe! is a fictional account of a real-world blueprint for a free state initiative focused on Wyoming. If enough freedom-loving individuals will relocate there under a useful pattern, they can "liberate" the Cowboy State on many levels. In Wyoming we could truly enjoy our rights of gun ownership, privacy, schooling, health and diet, unrestricted travel, and property. Boston shows us how it actually can be done!

In all honesty... I'd pack up right now. I think the problem wit NH is that there are too many people. I KNOW it's small as hell... BUT if the same number had went to Wyoming(about 1/3 the population) they'd be having a much greater effect. The RP supporters alone could literally take over a state like that inside of... Well pretty much instantly.

I've always advocated taking over a state FIRST, and then more states after showing everyone "the way", then the presidency. The states have been stripped of a lot of their power, but they're still quite powerful really.

I think we RP supporters should look into this as a serious option. If RP mops up and he's our president, GREAT. The chosen state will lead the way in cutting out state government like he'll do for the Fed. If not then we could still make the state reasonable.
