Heading off to Caucus in Colorado

Don't forget to mention that the local CO tea party supports Paul. Good luck and may they all be open to the message of liberty!

Remember to mention the Independent support who are 40% of electorate. mention that the latest surge to 2nd place nationally.!! We beat Obama with Indepedents in essentally all the polls better than Romney. Santorum isn't even on many ballots he's unelectable.. Anything to drive votes from romney and santorum to us !!!

Running to be a State delegate tonight.

I really hope I win. A bit of jitters, but nothing I can't control.

May the Ron Paul supporters in Colorado do well tonight.

You've already done us proud, best of luck in tonights Caucus

lets us know the totals when you get back and if you were elected as a delegate.

Tonight I was elected as a State Delegate at caucus. A total of 2 delegates were elected from my precinct and I got the most votes of any of the people running for the spots. I was outspoken for Ron Paul and declared my binding support for him. End the wars! End the drug war! End the Federal Reserve! Restore the Constitution!

Non binding straw Poll for my precinct:

Mitt Romney 12
Ron Paul 7
Rick Santorum 6
Newt 1

The other elected state delegate said he supported Mitt Romney 1st and 2nd choice would be Ron Paul.

I'm the county I live in, Larimer, we do things a bit differently than most of the counties in Colorado. We elect county and state delegates at caucus. Most counties just elect county delegates at caucus and then get the state delegates at county assembly. Reading through Facebook from people I know who are for Ron Paul many of them got State delegate spots. From our part of the state we are doing well in the delegate count from my view.

El Paso is the same way, and we're one of the bigger ones. We got a fair amount of state delegate and alternate slots last night. And of course getting those county spots was trivial and they'll likely be promoted. Everyone is pretty psyched around here.

When are national delegates chosen?

The Colorado State Convention is April 14th.

I have gotten even more news of our delegate success. We have trained well for the real political battle. Don't count Colorado out yet!
