Trump's lead also evaporates when the field is narrowed to just him and Carson. Asked about a head-to-head match-up between those two, Republican voters picked Carson over Trump, 55% to 36%.
Almost by 20 points. If rand doesn't get it together I will be voting Carson if for no other reason to stop trump.

A new Washington Post/ABC News poll released Wednesday finds that the real estate magnate is viewed unfavorably by 82% of Hispanics, with 68% feeling "strongly so." Just 15% of those surveyed view Trump favorably.
So much for the "macho Mexicans" loving trump. That "strongly so" will add up to massive turn out in a 85% against trump demographic.

Just a little more proof that more than half of Republicans, and more than two thirds of all voters, wouldn't trust Trump to manage the concessinaires at the state fair--even if they never go to the fair.

Ben Carson:

Free speech is wonderful, but hate speech causes actual harm.
Marijuana for medical use, but not for recreational use.
Back Israel and follow what Netanyahu wants on Iran.
PC police make us afraid to say "Merry Christmas".
Our armed forces are at smallest size in decades (favors expanding the military)

Fully awhere of Carsons issues but if Rand is out it is ABT and Carson tops that list.

Carson believes in forced vaccinations... but he was my number 2 pick after rand before i heard that

The fat lady won't sing a note until the convention. By the time Rand is out of it (if that time ever comes) so will be all but one of the clowns.

Everyone here does realize that, with seventeen candidates in the race, nobody goes into the convention with the nomination locked up this time. Right?

Oh wow, I thought it was "anybody but Hillary." I need a new program.

Sorry, I don't do lesser of two evils. The lesser guy is still evil. I won't vote for Carson. But you go ahead and kiss Israel's ass and expand the military if that's what you want to do. You're probably right...we didn't get enough of that in the Bush administration.
That's ok to each his own. If it is between trump and carson they are both for Israel and difference between Carson and trump on the military is Trump will be far more likely to use the military all over the world.

Carson is the only major candidate I could consider voting for right now. Need to learn a bit more about him still. Really hoping I get the chance to vote for Vermin though.

You made my point in a way. All of the others are pretty much the same, so there's no reason to choose, other than to say "I don't choose." Carson, Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Jeb....it will be difficult to tell one from the other after Rand.
I think carson is a decent person where Trump is evil but I am not going to argue with you about it. I am sticking by Rand until if it becomes obvious he can't win.

I'd wait until everyone else is out of the race before making assertions like this. Technically speaking, I could see myself voting for Cruz and possibly Carson come general election time, but not in a primary when Rand is still in the race. There are way too many flaws in Carson's record for me to be complementing him at this juncture, not to mention he will probably self-destruct at some point either before or soon after New Hampshire. Novices never go far, no matter how well liked they may be.

Where does Ben stand on Iraq war, tax payers funded Syria/mideast interventions, Patriot Act, SWCcare and Gay Weddings?
