WHAT?! JULY????!

Are you sure about this? July?

Free Mai Tais and a Lei greeting as you enter every caucus :D

I assume that we were ALL ABOUT the University of Hawaii. Everyone has been planning for months for this. We knew that if we just were able to get a ton of college kids from there, we'd flat out win. We knew this. So, we went to the University of Hawaii with a vengeance. We had Ron Paul nights at the local bars, when people could drink free beer. We have afterparties with free beer. We were knocking on dorm doors. We had street money. We had "dorm floor leaders". Contests between dorms with prizes where the winner was the dorm that brought out the most people. Tons of stuff, so we should have phenominal turnout in the U of Hawaii.

Just kidding. I'm guessing we didn't do anything special really at all. Maybe. Maybe we did that. I didn't hear anything like that happening. We have to do stuff like that if we want to win, but we never do.

Given the way Ron Paul folks act, you'd have to try harder to be just kidding. I actually thought you were being serious. :P

I will take that good news, and provide you with +rep ;) :)

That's super weird.
So in theory, people have until august to flood in absentee ballots to alter the results?

I remember reading on the Hawaii GOP site that there would be no absentee voting allowed---you could only vote during the 6-8 pm time period. If you were in the wrong precinct I think they were gonna count them later, but am pretty sure absentee voting wasn't allowed.

Post of the year.

Seriously, the polls have been closed for almost 2 hours now and only 24% of the vote is in! I want to go to sleep!

I hope we don't hear about missing trucks driving the ballots from one island to another. Wait... ;)

That says primary election, not GOP caucuses...

Yes.
It seems there is no Absentee ballot for the caucus.
There is likely a primary for local offices, and that is what the absentee ballot is for.
If a bunch of lazy people did not caucus for Paul because they thought they could absentee vote, I will cry 3 blood-tears.
