Have you had a bad experience with paid campaign staff?

Please, ONLY those with direct experience, post here. No other comments, PLEASE. Too much gets lost on this board. If you have seen another DIRECT account, posted in another thread, re-post it here, with the link.

I spoke, last night, with someone at Ron Paul Revlolution Radio. He wanted me to go on the air about the debacle in Michigan. I can't do it because I got the info second hand. If you have had direct experience, Ron Paul Revolution Radio wants to hear it.

Ron Paul's grandson is one of the people at Ron Paul Revolution Radio. If you want to save this campaign and get your info to someone who will listen, this is a good chance.

yea, apparently there was some bad blood, and some merry pranksterism.

money money was the matter... though i got nothin' but love for the both of them.

TANGOLAND FTW!!!!!!!

I did in Nevada. I don't want to post details because it is counter productive. I got done what I needed to get done despite this person.

Is Ron Paul Revolution Radio different than Ron Paul Radio?

Yes, incredibly different. This morning I listened to Revolution radio and there was some very intelligent discussion. I tuned into Ron Paul Radio as a comparison and heard music, and one of the "dj's" taking a personal cell phone call on the air. RPR radio is much more professional in my view, Ron Paul Radio has quite a bit to improve upon.

I was part of the Iowa vacation. On Jan 3ed, around 7:00 P.M I went to the 38 or so precinct in Des moine. I was told not to go, but went anyway. When I got there, I had to swim through a sea of democrats on the first floor to find the 34 republicans on the 3ed. I could not find the RP staff lady that was supposed to be there. I called her, quickly found her, and we walked into the room. Not being an Iowan, I had to spectate, but there was plenty of time to find fellow RP supporters, RP supporters who could speak, and who wanted to watch the vote. There was even plenty of time to convert people... What did she do? She sat there... while a few confused RP supporters wondered in the back. When it came time to represent RP... she, an adult sat there... didn't speak, nor found anyone else to speak. Instead some stupid 18 year old who hadn't known about RP for a month got up and began studdering something about 9/11 being an inside job. Frankly... in front of seasoned republicans, I was ashamed to be a RP supporter at that moment. Somehow, we got 7 votes... in the Straw poll! After the straw poll was over, HALF of our people left, including our STAFF lady! I ran after her, dragged her ass back up to vote for our guy, along with 2 other RP supporters, a Thompson supporter, and a Huckabee supporter... All agreed to vote for our guy. At the end of the night we got an alternate, by one vote. No thanks to RP staff...

Would you be willing to give an interview?

Ron Paul Revolution Radio got ahold of Kerri Price (paid staffer, assisstant organizer in Michigan, former BUSH/CHENEY worker from 2004). She told them that the Michigan grassroots were not willing to do the hard work, but said that she had done a really great job.

This person needs to FIRED. She tried to disband the Michigan Meetup groups. I think she's a mole. That SW Michigan group has worked their asses off, and she has done NOTHING.

Is Ron Paul Revolution Radio different than Ron Paul Radio?
Night and day. RPR is great, the only complaint I have is that the hosts can't tell when the guest is speaking sometimes, so it makes for awkward pauses and talk-overs.

spreading bad stories and criticisms is going to do no good now. The problems are known. There are people working on changing the problems. Thats our only hope.

My take is that you should put up a thread that is the OPPOSITE of this one.

Ask people to list their POSITIVE and UPLIFTING experiences with paid campaign staff.

If nothing else, it would make the thread shorter and easier to read...
{ducking to avoid thrown vegetables.}
