Have a Press Conference !

Call up the media that we are going to have a press conference,
they might assume that after Santorum, Dr. Paul might be getting out of the race (though some of them may not take the bait).
When we have their attention, attack Romney, show how similar he is to Obama, we cant change the course of the nation, by having Romney.

Outlets will claim they are waiting on Ron Paul to announce dropping out for 1-2 hour before the conference, and every few minutes before they go to him. Then they'll cut him off the second that they catch on, and act like "Oh big news braking elsewhere". Leaving most people to have the perception that Ron Paul dropped out. 1-2 hours of speculative reporting will trump the 5 minutes of speech.

I'm sure he'd get some local coverage and some low-level CNN intern trying to make a name, but they're not going to allow him to make headlines.

I like the idea, but I don't think it's possible to have the desired effect.

Thought of this myself, hmmm, might work, maybe Ron should have a press conference everyday for 30 days in many states and attack Romney and the reason being to save our nation.....full out attack and invites to debate and if refusal by Romney even more intense attacks and full throttle,, Ron must do something big , followed by something big and then again. so that in no way it can be ignored.

While I'd love to see some new attacks on Obama and Romney policy failures (followed up with RPs plans for a better America), any false flag media deception plan "press conference" would result in serious BLOWBACK if MSM players felt they were tricked.

Yea, it could go worse than just being ignored, but I guess they already hate RP.

If fact, I think the MSM is helping people that attend massive RP events (especially if new to the Liberty message) realize that the MSM is the enemy. The MSM already committed the Pear Harbor event that now motivates new supporters to get involved to spread the word about Ron Paul. It will be a laugh to see the big government MSM organ try to re-spin, rinse and repeat attacks, yet somehow ignore him at the same time.

i agree, as soon as the media gets a whiff of what he is doing, they would have their "technical difficulties" !
but these few days are the time where the campaign needs to go all out, if they are still serious.
make some noise, make some news, shake the establishment tree. maybe some fruits would fall.
else the media is going to run away with Romney as the nominee, ... oh well it already is doing that.

I was afraid to suggest this before, mainly because it is risky.

One of Two things will come out of it

1. Ron Paul has the bravado and aggressiveness to go after Romney, using any means, which means he will also be aggressive towards Obama. People love offensive moves.

2. Ron Paul is doing it in an act of desperation.

I would like to see ALL the stations have technical difficulties once they catch on lol. But without the debates, this is the only way to get national coverage where Ron can speak without any BS or interference. Show the world that you are really in it to win it. Besides, the media loves these kind of stuff... like some kind of drama. Call out Romney's flipflops and call out Romney for being a coward for not accepting the debate invitation. How can he debate Obama if he can't debate 2 "low" tier candidates?

The best thing we want to happen right now is for Romney to reciprocate. If Ron attack and piss off Romney, he might start attacking Ron. Romney using ads to attack Ron = people know Ron Paul is still running. You catch my drift? It is a win-win situation. The most important thing we can do is be on the radar. Romney attacking Ron in retaliation would make Ron important and a serious contender. Ron attacks Romney, Romney attacks Ron. At any rate, Romney has no ammo to attack Ron with.

Overall, I think the reward outweighs the risks. If we don't take risks, we wont get that big pay off.

If they keep playing "gentlement" I will be convinced that the campaign is for educational purposes only...

At any rate.. get this to someone who has connections with the campaign. It is probably imperative we get this done asap before the next primaries.

Also, call out Obama too at the press conference for ignoring the REAL contender. lol
