Has there been any lasting impact from the Wikileaks?

I don't hear THE INFORMATION talked about anymore. I can't recall a single particularly damning piece of evidence, mostly just the bogus charges filed against him (well-engineered...). H. Clinton asked for DNA & damning evidence on UN attendees, Spain had a set of copyright laws "given" to them by the US who proceeded to pressure them...

There were the War Logs which I didn't see anything interesting come of except an extremely powerful Youtube video constructed using the IED data provided by Wikileaks.


The covered-up massacre of Reuters reporters ("Collateral Murder") was damning, but not much came of it and it was poorly covered.





I ask this question honestly. Please inform me of the beneficial impact Wikileaks has had. Also may be an interesting discussion -- do Americans care about truth and knowledge? Will it compel them to vote for the "right" person? - Or is it all about politics?

Edit: BTW - I've been missing Stossel's shows since he switched to Fox but found a recent ep. with Paul. The reason why it seems that nothing has really come of Wikileaks is that the mainstream media barely covers the damning stuff, and the vast majority of peons don't give a shit as it isn't Dancing with the Stars or American Idol.
