Thank you for the tips so far. I think that 90% of this is OK. I'm going to post this (once it's edited) at one of my websites, and I'd like help promoting it on Twitter because I think that it could really help the campaign. Now is your chance to help out by any part that you think wouldn't work, I'll make a change in it. I read the concerns in the other thread, so I tried to make it seem that Santorum is actually costing more money through privatization, but if that doesn't work, I'll make any changes that or suggestions that everyone here wants.

We will Save America; IF WE BELIEVE, WE WILL WIN
At this moment in history our liberty is threatened. It is threatened by the bailouts to the banks, by the NDAA unlawful detention act, and by the SOPA act, which claims to combat online piracy, but in reality would only lead to more spying by the big corporations and the big government. Ron Paul leads the candidates in donations by the military. Those who have been pledged to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution understand the seriousness of the present time.
I want you to promise me, I want you to promise Ron Paul, and I want you to promise the world, that you know now is the time to restore liberty. We must all ask ourselves one question: What are we going to do? The answer is: we're going to save America!
We know that's the truth, and I don't want you to forget that.
When it comes to the issue of electability, remember that Ron Paul attracts the most independents and Democrats out of all the Republican candidates. In fact marketwatch.com says that "Noteworthy as well is that Paul fares better than all of his GOP competitors against Obama among non-whites... 'This poll further debunks the establishment-created myth about Ron Paul's electability and shows an expanding base of support'" [1.] Only Ron Paul has the compassion to bring us all together.
What are we going to do? We're going to save America!
There's also been a lot of talk about how Rick Santorum and Ron Paul are the two most sincere candidates. How you can count on either one of them to never flip-flop and to always stick to their words. Well did you know that Rick Santorum wants to make social security "very expensive?"
Google santorum and "social security" and "very expensive," and you'll find an exact match, "Santorum Admits Privatizing Social Security Would Be Very Expensive, But He'd Still 'Love To Be Able To Do It'" anyway.
I want to set out the contrasts between the two most sincere candidates. Ron Paul really cares.
On December 30, 2011 the Chicago Tribune reports, "a 10-year-old autistic boy asked Paul on Friday what he might do to help children like him." Ron "Paul never strays from his message of limited government, free markets and the importance of the Constitution." [2.] He said, "The most valuable resource for children, teenagers, college kids and adults is liberty. If we protect those liberties we will have the maximum amount of progress," [ibid.] "Later, he assured the boy" of his plans to "care for children" and "the elderly if elected." [ibid.]
In contrast Santorum's plan for changing social security is very risky because it makes private accounts, potentially tapping into the stock market. If there's a stock market crash, what do you think happens to your social security? Even worse it would allow corporations, banks, and other cronies to get their hands on what you worked so hard for to earn all your life. That would be the ultimate bailout for the banks. We can't do that. We must say, "No." No to Santorum and no to crony corporatism. and yes to Ron Paul and yes to the Constitution.
What are we going to do? We're going to save America!
I would humbly like to also refer you to a couple of articles in The Morning Call. The Morning Call is a newspaper, based in Allentown, Pennsylvania - a hard-working town, made famous for hiding the Liberty Bell from the British occupiers during the Revolutionary War. I want to tell you more about the Liberty Bell later, but first I'd like to tell you about a veteran of some more recent conflicts. A man, that was a veteran and also an American hero, wrote an article to The Morning Call on March 21, 2000. His name was, Lee C. Kohler. This venerable gentleman writes, "Senior citizens: Beware of Rick Santorum. He ignores the 18-to-24-year-young voters, and he received a low score from the non-partisan League of Conservative Voters. The senior citizens should also be aware of him voting against us. From Jan. 24, 1995 up to and including June 27, 1996, Sen. Santorum voted against bills and amendments that would have benefited senior citizens, 12 out of 14 times. We don't need him to represent us. Things are tough enough." These are Mr. Kohler words. Words of wisdom to guide us all. You see Mr. Kohler cared very deeply about both the elderly and the young people, but he also had a word of warning for us all about Rick Santorum.
I'd like to tell you some more about Lee C. Kohler, but first I've got some sad news. Unfortunately Mr. Kohler did not live to see the end of the tragedy that was Senator Santorum's term. As it happened Mr. Kohler passed away on February 12, 2006 and The Morning Call from the next day extolled the heroism of his life. The newspaper tells the story of his merits as a, "sergeant with the Combat Infantry Badge, the Bronze Star Medal, and various other Unit medals. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. of Macungie, the Yankee Division Association," and he even was a member of "The Macungie Fire Co. #1." He enjoyed bowling, and he was a star softball player. His was an American success story. But most of all Mr. Kohler was proud of the fact that he served. History records that "He was an Army veteran of WW II with the 328th Regiment of the 26th Yankee Division." This was the legendary, "Sergeant Yorks old outfit from WWI)." He lived for freedom. He lived for his country. He lived for the American Dream.
Now I ask you: What are we going to do? We're going to save America!
This man, this hero, Mr. Kohler cared very deeply about both the young and the elderly. He warned us about Senator Santorum. We must save America from men like Senator Santorum because we must memorialize other men like Mr. Kohler. He was a member of the greatest generation!
Reading about the American generational cycles, I understand that we are turning towards a crisis. We must come together as a community. We must come together as winners for each other. We must come together as a team. Time magazine wrote in January 2011 about the beginning of the global protests and conjectured about it coming to America that, "There is a massive generation of young people coming of age. Born between 1977 and 1997, the children of the baby boom in North America outnumber their parents."
Indeed I am a member of the 18 to 34 year age group dynamic, described as the most enthusiastic for Congressman Ron Paul. I want to inspire the young; I want to inspire the senior citizens; I want to reach out to the right, and I want to reach out to the left. We are all Americans, and I believe that, if we find a way to work together, we're going to come out of this crisis all right.
That's why I ask you: What are we going to do? We're going to save America!
Now there is another candidate that some young people have supported in Mitt Romney. Yet I often wonder why is there a ceiling on his level of support? Maybe it has to with the fact that he supported the TARP bank bailouts, and everyone knows that's not popular. Also there was an attack ad in a Senate campaign. Mitt Romney's opponent said that, "The way the company was rescued was with a federal bailout of $10 million,” the ad says. “The rest of us had to absorb the loss … Romney? He and others made $4 million in this deal. … Mitt Romney: Maybe he’s just against government when it helps working men and women.” Even the conservative National Review admits that, "a Boston Globe report from 1994 confirms that Bain [Capital - that's his company] saw several million dollars in loans forgiven by the FDIC, which had taken over Bain’s failed creditor, the Bank of New England."
That would mean thousands of jobs losses, and the bankers making out like bandits.
His record speaks for itself: He's not a conservative.
Saying that Mitt Romney has strengths in the economic issues of the federal deficit and unemployment rate is like saying that Sarah Palin has strengths in foreign policy because "she could see Russia from her kitchen window."
1. Mitt Romney: Big Spender 2. Mitt Romney: Job Killer 3. Mitt Romney: Liberal
We can't afford to make a bet on Mitt Romney. We're not talking about one of Mitt's ten thousand dollar bets. We're talking about a national debt that's way in excess of ten trillion dollars, and it's even over fifteen trillion and soon to be over sixteen trillion dollars of debt. So if he would ever be, God-forbid, in power, he could raise the debt ceiling. Just look at our national debt. It should be YOUR money, but they stole it from you. Now we're going to get it back.
Now I ask you: What are we going to do? We're going to save America!
In no way shape or form am I arguing for class warfare. Moreover I am not saying that anyone should be jealous of the rich. But what has happened is we've regretfully become a little sloppy as a nation. You see there's a big difference between someone becoming rich by really and truly creating jobs for others and another person that gets wealthy because of crony corporatism, made possible by financial connections. Now the attack ad that I referenced a few moments ago was created for the Ted Kennedy campaign. We all know his record as a Senator. I say to you that if even a liberal like the late Ted Kennedy criticized Mitt Romney's company's bailouts, then what are conservatives supposed to say about all this?
Look at Bill Gates, he invented Microsoft. Look at Mark Zuckerberg: He invented Facebook. Look at Steve Jobs: He invented Apple Computer and all the inventions, such as the iPhone, that came after it, improving our lives. What the heck did Mitt Romney ever invent? Mitt Romney never invented a damn thing. Basically Mitt Romney was just a moneychanger. Even Al Gore lied and said that he invented the Internet, so at least he could appear useful and show that he could actually accomplish something. This is not class warfare; this is not jealousy of the rich. This is only about the relationship between government spending and the bailouts that Mitt Romney profited from.
The number one issue in this election is the economy, and Ron Paul understands the problem of the bailouts. Already back in 2007 Ron Paul was warning us about the impending economic crisis. Because of the lower Fed interest rates, a housing bubble developed, since the dollar was the reserve currency. It was not the HUD loans that caused the bubble because this bubble was world-wide. In fact the quantitative easing over the last several years has only laid the foundation for future economic crises. And in the previous year of 2011 these economic crises have transformed into political crises with protests all around the world.
I say we've got to return our economy to the Constitution, so that we can be prosperous once again.
That's why I ask you: What are we going to do? We're going to save America!
Some individuals are feeling down at the start of the New Year because the Des Moines Register said that we're two points from first place. This speech is designed to look forward. This is not just about one election; this is designed to motivate for all elections. I have a plan to give us a chance.
It is a fact that the side which appears to be the most sincere in their convictions is the one most likely to triumph. We see that in the courtroom. We see that in the boardroom. We see that in life and death struggles, and to quote Thomas Paine: "These are the times that try men's souls." Ask yourself: Who's got the best grassroots? Who's got the best fund-raisers? Who's got the best money-bombs? Ron Paul is the ONLY electable candidate. Paul is more electable than Santorum because Paul appeals to independents and Democrats. (If anyone is concerned with Paul's non-interventionalist stance; remember that Paul respects the Constitution, so if Congress declares war on anyone, President Paul as commander-in-chief will see the conflict through until victory for the United States.) Likewise Mitt Romney can't win because he has a ceiling due to the fact that he's a flip-flopper on many issues, including abortion and health care, so he can't be trusted. More importantly he has supported bailouts in the past. Mitt Romney would be the debtor's President; Ron Paul will be the Savior's President.
Now I ask you: What are we going to do? We're going to save America!
That brings me to the SOPA or piracy bill. Many software entrepreneurs are against this attempt by the government to take over our digital economy. We must stand firm for freedom. Paul is against SOPA; Paul stands with the real inventors, the real job creators, the Silicon Valley entrepreneurs and tech companies, dreaming of a world of Internet freedom.
When all of us talk like this, it creates a bandwagon effect. There's enthusiasm and higher turnout and get out the vote drives. There are caucus speeches and primary advertisements, meant to persuade others towards last second switches. When the gold eagle of liberty soars, the herd will follow us. It does not matter if the breakthrough comes in January of 2012, or another month of this year, or beyond; the fact is change is coming. Liberty's Forest flourishes.
On the day of decision do not be angry; do not be in a panic; also do not be in a giddy or overconfident mindset. History has recorded great upsets. The legendary New Jets beat the Baltimore Colts. Likewise the Super Bowl 32 Denver Broncos defeated the greatly favored Green Bay Packers. And the never-say-die New York Giants overcame the previously undefeated New England Patriots. Just like we're going to overcome!
What are we going to do? We're going to save America!
Remember all those teams were about ten points or more behind pre-game, so they were much worse off than us, yet they won. How did they do it? Seth Joyer, joining the Denver team the following year, admitted that before the game, the Green Bay Packers thought that they had already won. I can see Joyer's point. In fact when watching film of that game, I can see that after the Green Bay scored the touchdown after the first drive, they were celebrating and jumping in the air already like the party was on. Before the game when they entered the stadium's playing field you could see the loose body language and facial expressions on the Green Bay Packer's players. In contrast the Denver team had a deep, super-serious, totally committed, no excess talking, almost somber like a funeral (but not sad) just totally and completely and 100% focused on the task they had to surmount. We can climb that mountain. We can fly that flag of liberty. We can soar once again like an eagle with dreams, no longer chained down by government tyranny.
What are we going to do? We're going to save America!
I also remember the upset of the New England team. Before the game a woman fan shouted to Tom Brady, "Tom Brady will you marry me?" He replied, "I've got a lot of Mrs. Brady's." It's this kind of arrogance that will ultimately be the undoing of the crony corporatism.
Be careful not to over fear the opposition. The corporations are powerful, but their master plans don't always work. They may think of themselves as undefeated, but they're not invincible. We're the good guys, and we're the ones that are going to win.
What are we going to do? We're going to save America!
We need a focused determination, almost like a deep-felt religious experience.
Remember what I said, concerning the Liberty Bell in Allentown, Pennsylvania? Well it's back! And I'm here to tell you where we're going to carry the Liberty Bell on our shoulders like champions on the field of battle.
According to CBS News on December 15, 2011, "Half of US poor or low income." Those individuals that are suffering deserve dignity. We will carry the Liberty Bell to save them.
According to the BBC, "In Denver, Colorado, many families are joining the growing ranks of homeless. Some are finding temporary shelter by checking into the rather optimistically named Aristocrat Motel - a boxy two-story building run by a charity, Volunteers of America." As a nation I believe that we can and must do better. We must reach out to others and explain to them what really happened and why the economy collapsed. Then their minds will ring as clear as the Liberty Bell.
Once again that’s why I say: What are we going to do? We're going to save America!
Do you know what comes up when you search for Santorum online? There’s a lot of stuff that this guy is into that maybe you’re not aware of.
Mitt Romney has much more in common with the 1980's board of directors that fired Steve Jobs from Apple than the highly successful Apple of the 2000's that welcomed Steve Jobs back and returned to glory. Sometimes all a company, or even a country such as the United States of America, needs is new leadership.
What are we going to do? We're going to save America!
How many times have they accused our guy of things which we know are simply is not true. And the fact is that he loves everyone!
We will not rest. We will not sleep. We will not give up... until victory is ours.
What are we going to do? We're going to save America.
A Wave of energy must meet every room, building, and auditorium where we compete. And on the day of decision, we must dominate the situation.
If you are religious pray. If you are secular meditate. When you look around and see your fellow citizen, smile. Recognize the work of a higher power. We are carrying on the tradition of the Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence, and the Constitution of the United States of America. These values are sacred.
Pray, meditate, and make a New Year's Resolution, that will guide our revolution.
Think about all the students that were pepper sprayed out in California.
Think about that pepper-sprayed man dying in jail.
Think about Agent Orange dioxin and how the injured vets were denied their compensation for years. Think about Gulf War illness and similar stone-walling. Think about the detention bills and the anti-piracy SOPA bills.
Remember what we're fighting for. We're fighting for Ron Paul. We're fighting for our future. We're fighting for America.
What are we going to do? We're going to save America!
This is the moment of inspiration. This is the moment of destiny. This is the moment of victory. This is the moment when we save America.
