It can be attached as an amendment to other bills. At least through that means we can get an up or down vote on it.
I look at the situation at hand as a process. Step one was to actually get the bill passed in one chamber. Now, the next step is obviously for both to pass it, and then for it to be signed. IMHO that won't happen with a Dem controlled Senate and Obama in the White House. So for one, the GOP needs to take control of the Senate, and it would be helpful if Bills, Cruz, Mack and Flake win since they all support the bill. Then we either need a veto proof majority or a POTUS that will sign the bill.
This is a nice win for our wing for sure, but there still is a lot of work to be done, and our guys in Congress are going to need to continue to build coalitions to see this through

Focus on Senator Tim Johnson of South Dakota.
He is the Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee. S. 202 must pass the Senate Banking Committee FIRST before it goes to the full Senate.

OOOHHHHH, I get it now....Harry Reid is pissed off because Ron Paul succeeded where he could not...how selfish of him.
To Senator Johnson, I would say "Please schedule S. 202 for markup in the Senate Banking Committee."

That's what I'd like to know. What's Reid's excuse here? I figure it's something like the typical "Republicans are using these distractions when we need to fix the economy." Be nice if he even gave an excuse, no matter how ridiculous. As it stands now, he just sounds vindictive. Something that overwhelmingly passed the house, and you won't even give it a vote? How in the world is that "Democracy?"
Of course, it's the same thing with the health care law repeal. Reid won't let it even come to a vote, insisting it would waste time. In reality he just doesn't want any of his senators to have to support a deeply unpopular policy. My theory is, if it's that unpopular, maybe there's a few reasons for that.
