Sure. So how can it happen? Through history most of them have happened through people ignoring "power" more and more until it's no longer taken seriously, or no longer revered, has revoked its right to be considered "authority" in their minds, however you want to define the mass change of attitude.

And that usually breaks out through the exact sort of monkey see monkey do thing he's talking about. Being free is infectious.

We're seeing the beginning of the proverbial brush fire, I think. Trump's trying to play firebreak.

Yea, disobedience is useful in getting us to that decision point I referred to earlier: fight or comply.

But at some point, if we are to be free, lives must be risked.

Disobedience around the margins can only take us so far.

I would say that's power, but not freedom.

Yeah, power, it is that. Power can be used to repel assaults. I think of that more as "Fuck Off Money", because that's what you pay them to do. "Fuck You Money" seems to me to imply power to jack with people.

It's all what you do with it.

If you insist on being free, then yes, they'd love to deprive you of it. They like to watch once free men sell out to maintain their comfort level.

Freedom isn't a state of finance, it's a state of mind.
