Responses in bold.
Additionally, explain to me how a "protest vote" exists and does anything other than empower the person you voted for?
I saw your responses. I disagree with you.
From what I now know (which I confess is limited and unreliable compared to what Trump will
actually do if elected), I believe above all that stopping Hillary is the most important thing I can do with my vote. My vote for a third party candidate will not help stop Hillary. My vote for Trump might.
As I stated before, if it appears to be a blowout going into election day, I will vote third party (as I have done numerous times in the past). If it is close, I am voting against Hillary by voting for Trump, who I believe is the lesser of two evils.
Does this 'empower" Trump? Well, duh, yes. It empowers him to stop Hillary which is my main priority.
I understand why this is so difficult for some here to understand, as we have been followers of Ron Paul who has put his consistency and integrity to be above all things. Well, I think that can also be a sort of pride. Ron Paul would rather have us throw away our vote for a non winning candidate and in doing so give Hillary a victory so that she can continue the madness and elect SC judges to boot.
Well, that was okay for me to accept in the past, but I think for this election, I have to do a little more than selfishly 'satisfy by conscience' and in doing so have my children wake up in world which is worse off.
The fact is, we are eating shit one way or another since none of the third party candidate are winning this election and the main candidates suck. I will then use the little power I have to pick the less of the two evils, and against the worse evil, for the sake of my children and their future. It's a crappy deal, but it is the only hand I have to play right now. If you think that is foolish and unreasonable or whatever, I really don't care. You do what you want with your vote and I'll do what I want with mine. Thank you.
