Hannity tells Chuck Norris that Ron Paul is nuts

Nice wig/coloring Norris. What's wrong with getting old gracefully. They guy looks like a fool with that hair. Chuck Norris is nuts.

Nuts:

a crazy or eccentric person

Eccentric:

deviating from the recognized or customary character, practice, etc.; a person who has an unusual, peculiar, or odd personality, set of beliefs, or behavior pattern.

* * *

Perhaps "eccentric" is a better word, but yeah... I don't see this as much of an insult. We care what Hannity says because...? People who pay attention to him are already a lost cause. There are key policy points that are not about to change, and that make them anathema to actual freedom. The good news is that if freedom were ever to take hold, they'd quietly complain about it and do nothing (rather like what goes on now when everything else is taking hold).

Who's afraid of Ron Paul? Neocon Rinos, that's who.

We need a cartoon of Ron Paul hunting neocon rinos with his gold money gun.

too bad ron doesn't "rip into" these people more and tear them up by the ideas they support... that's the one thing I think Ron is missing (more of a "killer" instinct).

Maybe if this was 20 years ago (cue Morton Downey clip)

The few seconds I caught of the show last night he was making the case that we could have won Vietnam if the politicans were behind it. Possibly, but he is nuts to think sacraficing ones life in Vietnam is worthwhile under any changed circumstances. This tool usually is a good barameter of where the party is going and if that is the case we are seriously screwed.

I hope the responses in this thread become common knowledge to the average Joe. He needs to be exposed as the complete fraud that he is. The man is by no means a Conservative and is a big government neocon tool.

Chuck was just being polite, it is Hannity's show

Hannity is the problem, total idiot who hasn't learn't his lesson. socialist pig

I wasn't around at the time, but from what I have read, YES we could have "won" in vietnam; but we were not allowed to.
For example:
1. The air force was repeatedly refused permission to bomb those targets that the Joint Chiefs of Staff deemed most strategic.
2. US troops were given a general order not to fire at the vietcong until fired upon.
3. Vehicles more than 200 yards off the Ho Chi Minh trail could not be bombed. (enemy supply trucks forewarned of approaching us planes had only to temporarily divert off the trail to escape destruction)
4. A north vietnamese MIG could not be struck if spotted on a runway, only if airborne and showing hostile intent.
5. Surface to air missile sites could not be bombed while under construction; only after they became operational.
6. Enemy forces could not be pursued if they crossed the border into Laos or Cambodia.
7. We boosted trade with the soviet bloc, which furnished 80% of the the enemies supplies -- we in effect were supplying our enemy.

For example:

The military-industrial complex wanted no part of a short war. A slow bleed is much preferred for armament contracts.

What you have read is irrelevant to the point. The Viet Nam War was started by falsified means, the Gulf Of Tonkin incident was staged, we have the tapes, it's documented beyond doubt. We brutalized a sovereign nation and later the entire region for geopolitical gain. If "winning" would have constituted the slaughter of each and every Viet Namese or Cambodian.....or Laotian so be it. Would that make you proud? Would it make us justified?

Chuck the knuckle dragging actor is up there with another knuckle dragging actor associating freedom with militarism and violence. For money.

If the U.S. could have left that hellish place 10 years earlier, then yes. And I'm not implying the murder of every cambodian and vietnamese. There is a way to fight a war effectively and efficiently.

Yeah, that's me. A big warmonger, kill em all let god sort them out kinda guy.

What I posted was not irrelevent to one of the point I was replying to: "that we could have won Vietnam if the politicans were behind it"
Whether the war was justified or how it got started is fairly irrelevent to my point. If we are going to go to war, then we should fight it, win it, then go home. There is plenty of historical evidence that the people that pushed the war and controlled the war didn't want us to "win". As cited by my short list above. If you have a problem with what I actually said then please feel free dispute it.

Think about how many hundreds of thousands of vietnamese and the thousands of americans would be alive, if they pursued a sound strategy to win the war?

Isn't it interesting that the architect of the Vietnam War, Robert McNamara eventually landed at the head of the World Bank after he left as Defense Secretary?

Indeed. 5/7 restrictions on the list I posted dealt directly with not allowing our forces to destroy military supplies or locations. It seems to me that would have severly limited the vietcong's ability to wage war....

Hannity is a Puddin Head

I can only listen to Hannity for about 2 minutes before I have to change the channel. He is a well programmed robot, saying the same things over and over. I lost complete respect for him after he attacked Ron Paul during the election.

These mainstream media conservative talking heads seem to have been told to distance themselves from Ron Paul. Mark Levin is another loudmouth know-nothing who calls himself a conservative. They make their millions of dollars to keep Americans focused on the commie Democrats, and not the people behind the whole left-right charade.

Hannity has always been a clueless douchebag. He represents everything wrong with the republican party. Everytime he wonders how the party blew it he should take a long look in the mirror.

^ This.

I wish Chuck would have responded, "He's not nuts, you're nuts for not listening to him" or something much better than the response he had.

+1
