This is what happens when you have a democracy in which all elections are determined by
hand-counted paper ballots. The ruling faction cannot act with such utter impunity that it doesn't matter how much of the electorate is dissatisfied, as in the US.

Trudeau got some kind of wake-up call, maybe from his own party, as he is not the kind of wannabe dictator who would ever of his own free will relinquish power. The truckers had already gone home when he pushed for the Emergencies Act. He had plans.

But without Dominion there to take care of the legislators who otherwise would have lost their jobs, he had to act as if in an imperfect, but approximately functioning democracy, unlike the US, where it does't matter whether you want the clot-shot or not, war with Russia or not. They can just do whatever they (or Klaus Schwab) wants. Bright spot:
"Arizona lawmakers move to return to paper ballots, hand counts."

I've never voted without going to the polls and marking a ballot in ink.

Oklahoma seems to have jumped from behind the curve to leading it.

Everyplace has ink marked paper now. The issue is how it's counted, by hand, or by machine. Machines are easy to hack. That's how they stole it from Trump in 2020, and how Hillary stole it from Bernie in 2016. Not just in one state. In many.
