Sara Evans is one.

There's one more they haven't told us about.

But man, does Dr. Paul like country music or what? :D

Well with the Sara Evans (who?) announcement I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the next one to be announced.

Forget the music, let's focus on getting the campaign for liberty off the ground.

If you don't know Sara Evans, you don't know modern Country music.

Aimee Allen and Marc Scibilia will be there too. I know it's not Pink Floyd, but it's not a rock concert.

But you just said you don't know country music, so you aren't qualified to judge. :p

(Me either for that matter, I'm just sayin')

Well if she is not even well known in the States then I kind of doubt she would be well known internationally.

I don't think Sara qualifies either.

Just because you haven't heard of someone doesn't mean that no one else has.

Sara Evans

Sara Lynn Evans (born February 5, 1971) is an American country singer-songwriter who has had numerous top 10 hits.

Sara Evans was one of the few traditional-styled singers to emerge from Nashville in the late 1990s, according to All Music guide. Since emerging from the late-90s, Evans has become one of Country music's most popular female vocalists, acquiring a few No. 1 Country hits and Gold and Platinum-certified albums by the RIAA, like 2004's Restless and 2005's Real Fine Place, which are her biggest selling albums to date.

She's very well known in the country/crossover crowd. And I'll repeat what Don posted and what was implied above: look for multiple announcements this week.

Actually, she's pretty well known in the States at least.

+1

Maybe the next big announcement will be exciting for the rock fans and will have the country fans saying, who??? ;)

Yeah, there should be another announcement for a musician coming.

http://www.targetcenter.com/default.asp?targetcenter=87&objId=496

"Two internationally renowned musicians will headline the musical portion of the show. They will join rock star Aimee Allen‚ NBC’s Tucker Carlson‚ Barry Goldwater Jr.‚ Gov. Gary Johnson‚ conservative stalwart Grover Norquist‚ former Reagan deputy Attorney General Bruce Fein‚ presidential historian Doug Wead‚ and many other special guests to be announced soon."

I think some people are confusing the musicians playing at the Ron Paul Nation Celebration with the musicians playing at the Rally for the Republic.

Here's the Ron Paul Nation Celebration info, which is the free concert at the Blaine National Sports Center being held the night before the Rally for the Republic: http://rally.campaignforliberty.com/schedule/?id=10003&title=Ron Paul Nation Celebration

"Ron Paul musical favorites Rockie Lynne‚ Aimee Allen‚ Mark Scibilia‚ Rick Ellis‚ and emcee Adam Curry will be our entertainment for the evening. Ron Paul will be speaking at 10:00pm!"
