My actual thoughts while watching this movie:

"Wow, these actors are doing an amazing job of talk fluidly for up to 10 minutes at a time in these long single shots."
"European writers seem rather douchy and pretentious. I will avoid them in the future."
"That guy looks like Tony Shalhoub."
"That guys idea for a book seems convoluted and ridiculous.'
"Damn, Ethen Hawke is ageing poorly. He is starting to look like Billy Ray Cyrus."
"None of these conversations seem relevant and I have no idea where this story is going."
"That woman complains a lot for no reason."

Girlfriend: "I loved this movie. I now realize all the things you are doing wrong in our relationship. What did you think of the movie?"
Me: "I agree with everything the woman said and I will fix all of my faults immediately."

I hope the last line is a joke. It sounds like you've got a complainer. I got one too, I just try to ignore her as much as humanly possibly in most cases.

I was actually going to post that I missed his anti-dating rants in chat which were numerous and a constant source of hilarity in chat, but because you all know me so well...

her internet boyfriend being the exception of course.

I am not just an "internet boyfriend" and I really take offense to being labeled as such. I should also add that she has no problem at all calling me out when I am wrong or acting like an ass so I am no exception to any rule.

Pay her no mind. Her default position is to think of us all as losertarians, her internet boyfriend being the exception of course.

She seems to hate everyone on this forum.

You know, with comments like these, where you are insulting and putting down someone that you've never met, you are basically confirming her's and everyone else's opinions of you. This is the kind of behavior expected of 7 year olds who act like the losers they are afraid of being labeled, and who are shunned away from the monkeybars because they kept kicking sand in the faces of the other kids. It's a self fulfilling prophecy: You act like losers, you get labeled losers. Your shock and dismay at having factual labels applied to your characters and behavior is inconsequential to the objective reality and manners in which you engage yourselves. And in-case I used too many big words right there: Stop sucking the life from others, man yourselves up, and go contribute to society. >:{
