Gun Owners of America PVF ENDORSES KERRY BENTIVOLIO!

Sweet. Looks like the conservative organizations are making their stand. Let's hope it makes the difference. I'm a little worried so far.

Says he served in W's "iraqi freedom" campaign and Vietnam.

Is for that kind of thing?

He served combat in Vietnam but was more of an administrative role as a guardsman in Iraq. As far as policy, he's the spittin image of Ron. He's an RP supporter and most wouldn't support Ron if they weren't down for the foreign policy. That said, his campaign is heavy from top to bottom w/ Paul supporters plus the scattered Tea Party orgs and he'd be in some deep sh if he were to cave on anything.

Great explanation!

If Gun Owners of America was really "no-compromise" as they claim to be, then all GOA members (no exceptions) should have refused to support and vote for anti-gun Obama or anti-gun Romney last Nov. 6th. All GOA members should have voted for a pro-gun 3rd party candidate or stayed at home. I bet many of them voted for "the lesser evil" Romney because he was "not as bad as Obama" on the 2nd amendment. They should quit calling themselves "no-compromise" if they are supporting candidates with anti-gun records like Romney.

You can't just stop all GOA members voting, that's impossible with such a large group. GOA as an organization did not endorse Romney.

I didn't say they shouldn't vote...I said they should not have voted for candidates with anti-gun records like Obama and Romney...there were pro-gun candidates on the ballot....no excuse to not mark their names if they are really "no-compromise".

Yeah but an organization can't realistically control their members like that. The way their members vote doesn't somehow ruin the credibility of the organization itself, unless the organization endorses the candidates in question, which they didn't. Also, how would they actually police this? How would they even know who their members voted for? Are you suggesting they ban anyone who openly admits they voted Romney? That would lose them a lot of members and therefore a lot of money.
