Grow some balls...

We just need to suck it up and move forward. This is far from the end of the world, NH is a whole new ballgame. Heck, Clinton only got 2.8% of the vote in Iowa in '92, and it sure didn't stop him from taking the nomination.

Ive got to vent my anger somewhere

Try sticking your head in the toilet and pulling the flushing mechanism a few times. Waterboarding yourself back to sensibility will be a good cure for your malaise. At least the crap spewing from your head will not be tossed into public view but spiral fundamentally down the tubes to be lost among fecal particulates where it will be much more homeopathically aligned.

Hey Jenninlouisiana,

Thanks for all you're doing! Keep up the good work. I appreciate your perspective and I know that a better showing (even a three way tie for third) makes Ron an easier sell to the unconverted.

We made double digits. Take every victory we can, even if it's something as stupid as that.

My husband got very disenchanted over these numbers. He doesn't understand that we have to work harder. Iowa wasn't a friendly state for Paul and we can overcome this.

I don't know about y'all, but I'm going to be up all night getting my crap in order to bust my ass this weekend.

And I just sent a donation to our good Doctor. Just to remind him I still care. :)

Did any of you ever consider that one of the reasons Ron Paul doesn't poll well, and in this case place well in Iowa, is because of the immature, obnoxious behavior some of you exhibit? People react negatively to it, and so would you. Please use good manners and clean language at all times when out in public supporting Dr. Paul.

No, I won't grow some balls.

Going below 10% of the vote makes it harder for me, as a district captain, to sell Ron Paul.

The biggest argument I get is: "he isn't electable".

Sheep don't want to hear the details. They want to see results.

To sheep, this is proof Ron Paul can't be elected.

Sheep vote.

Think about the state...almost 70% of them think Bush is doing a swell job! They are like opposite of the rest of the country!!

Feelings About Bush Administration
Enthusiastic (20%)
Satisfied (48%)
Dissatisfied (26%)
Angry (5%)

SORRY. Counting the votes was just really depressing after all the hard work we did...

Let me grab some beers tonight, and i'll be back tomorrow.

FOR THE REVOLUTION!!

Thanks! I'm going to take an Ambien, lol, get a good night's sleep and start again tomorrow with my chin up.

I also want to see Ron's speech. By the time I got to justintv it wasn't broadcasting any more....

This campaign picked up momentum very recently and could have done better in Iowa but I don't think results are bad at all considering Iowa demographic. Many of us had expectations too high, too soon. Huck did very well in a very friendly neighborhood, Romney lost considering how much he spent there and for how long he had been camped there.

John McCain ....... 12,520 ...... 13%
Fred Thompson .... 12,484 ...... 13%
Ron Paul ............... 9,132 ....... 10%
Rudy Giuliani ......... 3,321 ...... 4%
Duncan Hunter ........ 395 ...... 0%

One step at a time.

Great job by all those who worked very hard.

If this was boxing--this would have been a jab, not the knockout punch. A fighter would NOT
laydown and conced the fight because of that. This is politics and we can't give up after the first state. The Patriots didn't give up 200 years ago after the first battle and this was just
OUR first battle. Don't expect to win every battle--win the war.
Thanks to all the Patriots in Iowa for their hard work and efforts. Let's not forget what is at stake and move on to the next state.

Sheep vote.

So Rudy must be really unelectable. Do you think the "sheep" would agree with that?

Paul just as "electable" as the other five. Believe it -- because it's true.

and more lame excuses for blowing Iowa

"could have done better in Iowa but I don't think results are bad at all considering Iowa demographic. "

Would you stop making these fucking lame ass excuses, please? We got 10 percent of the vote tonight.

This is a 5 alarm fire bell for YOU and YOURS to intervene. Stop the bullshit excuses, and do something about it.

You and I have the mirror to blame, and I'll take it. I deserve it.
