Grow some balls...

How about grow a sense of realism and realize everything isn't happy go lucky.

We put all we could into this campaign and only got 5th, thats failure.

Again, you. Go away. Your posts reek of failure. Everything you put went into Iowa? Amazing... just amazing. You must never have faced a real challenge in your life before.

I can't believe you guys,

We win 10% of the vote in the LEAST LIKELY state for someone like Ron Paul to ever win and you all go fucking insane.

I know it's agonizing, but this is so not important. If he bombs in NH, we can start to panic, because that's a state Ron Paul should do well in. But seriously, a terrorist fearing, farm subsidy loving bunch of bible thumping neoconservatives don't vote for Ron Paul and we shit our pants? WTF?

We have 20 million fucking dollars, the right message, and Paul is one of six viable candidates to become the Republican nominee for President of the United States for Christ's sake. See you in Wyoming and New Hampshire.

GROW SOME FUCKING BALLS...

Yup. I'm pissed right now. Noticed myself going a bit extreme, but tomorrow this anxious wait will begin again and we will all have to support Dr. paul once again as he heads into New Hampshire.

Now this is the kind of new member posts we need more of! Thompson is out. Huchabee will blow his lead apart with his mouth. Paul has options like third party. We have 9 more months to go, and lots of money.

It hasn't even begun yet. Buck it up folks or look forward to a battle in the streets.

I think the problem is the polls pegged us at 9% and it looks like we will get 10-11%. In other words, the polls are right. If they are right here what is to say they are inaccurate in NH or any other state for that matter?

The problem isn't that we came in 5th, it's that the polls were correct.

Iowa has been historically good at one thing in these elections and that is predicting the loser! Who ever wins Iowa has got the odds agaist 'em goint to the WhiteHouse... I'll be glad to get this one out the way....Bring on New Hampshire!

No, I won't grow some balls.

Going below 10% of the vote makes it harder for me, as a district captain, to sell Ron Paul.

The biggest argument I get is: "he isn't electable".

Sheep don't want to hear the details. They want to see results.

To sheep, this is proof Ron Paul can't be elected.

Sheep vote.

If you can't hack it, leave the forum and go back to your life, there is zero room for wussies and quitters in this campaign. If someone tells you he's unelectable, get in their face and tell them "He's unelectable because you are sitting on your ass and settling for the least of the worst." I'm tired of people making excuses, unless you live in Iowa, you still have work to do and I suggest you start doing it or stop wasting space on this forum.

Agreed. Understand that not everyone has resilience. It's our *resilience* that we have over Thompson and McCain supporters that will serve us in the states to come. Keep up the fight. And remember to keep things in perspective: it's Iowa. Repeat: it's Iowa. Relax.

What the fuck are you talking about? There are 2.3 million adults in Iowa and only 10,000 are found to vote for Ron Paul? 50,000 sons of liberty and we would have won. That's 2% of the adult population and we couldn't do it? I will never give up, but stop drinking the coolaid. We all have to do a MUCH better job of persuading people that freedom and peace is much better than war, bondage, and fear.

People are just angry. I'd be more worried if there wasn't at least a little anger.

We'll all be much more determined to fight this through to the very end.

We won the Independent vote according to CNN's entry polls so that's good news looking forward to NH.

Look at the ways you can present this info:

1) He finished ahead of Rudy, a so-called frontrunner.

2) He has steadily been rising in the polls. During the summer they laughed because he was getting 2% in national polls, yet he gets 9-10% in the Iowa caucuses. He is on the rise.

3) He is raising more and more money, and has raised more than any other candidate on the Republican side.

4) Remember Pat Robertson winning Iowa? It's early - way early.

5) Even if they don't vote for Paul, you are getting his name out there. Most people still don't know who he is! The majority of people I talk to still do not know who he is. Ron is in it for the long haul, and maybe even as a 3rd party or Independent candidate.

Loads of judgement there.... why don't you search my posts.

And, dude, let me give you a piece of advice:

if YOU lived in semi-rural Louisiana, you would learn VERY QUICKLY to NEVER EVER get in anyone's face unless you wanted to look down a gun barrel.

Ron Paul for the Long Haul.
No quitting here.
I now know I gotta get my boys out in the streets of Alabama pounding signs in the ground and knockin on doors.
No Quitting here, Quitting is for pansy ass losers.
Die with your boots on.
Be as strong as a 72 year old man thats fighting for what YOU BELIEVE IN!

Work: spelled W - O - R - K

I saw the unrealistic high expectations from many people in these forums weeks ago.

While a large percentage of Americans agree with the Libertarian message, the Establishment has brainwashed most people into thinking freedom and capitalism are bad things.

It will take time and a lot of work on the part of us who value our freedom to get the rest of the people to open their eyes.

When the leader's stats say that it was very important as to what the candidates religious beliefs are, it means that we weren't supposed to come close in this state. So move on.
