Group of Paul Supporters, building their own Town in Texas.

I've always thought it best to move to unincorporated parts as you have no property taxes. That's always been my plan when I move to NH is to move to an unincorporated area (don't mind commuting). Would be best to have a few other folks do the same so you can have some mutual services going on as it is quite difficult for a small community to have a significant division of labor.

wouldn't the city government decide the tax? beyond the county.

There is no city. As far as I am aware there is no county property tax either. You have the choice to contract services with their monopoly, but I would simply choose not to, hence the call for a few like minded folks for mutual services (like say fire). Is it ideal? No, but then again, it's the best we got until we can restore our rightful liberties.

you can get an allodial title in texas.

I didn't know about allodial titles. I just read a little bit about it on wikipedia and it seems like it doesn't really help because you'd still be under the laws. Can you clarify on this?

On a side not I think this thread shouldn't be in grassroots.

If everyone on this forum chipped in a couple hundred dollars, we'd have enough money to buy our own private island in international waters in no time. We could waste the rest of our lives and our childrens' lives trying to enlighten 300,000,000 people in the Continental U.S. who don't even want liberty in the first place, or we could set up a place for ourselves where we really can live free and be happy.

I think there is no land that isn't claimed. Even if we were to buy all the properties on an island, it would still be under the sovereignty of the original country. I thought about how it'd be neat to have a libertarian island at the very southern portion of the Faroe Islands, but you would still need to declare independence to do that.

is it out of reach of government agents?

Considering that Government Agents reach nearly every quarter of the world, what you want isn't going to be found on this Earth quite yet. Lacking the ideal, this is the second best. It is not under any jurisdiction in NH hence no property tax, and with no sales and no income tax in NH you're left with a few nuisance taxes like meals and 5% on capital income (I believe) + the nauseating Fed taxes, but this is about as free as it gets in the Land of the Serfs ... for now anyways.

However, the White Mountain region given an adequate knowledge of the lay of the land and a like minded community of folk, I would reckon you could drive any Government agents away pretty easily if you have the fortitude and conviction.
