I've been promoting RP all over south and central Florida for a year now. He seems to have a lot of support. Up until recently he was the only candidate who had signs and stickers everywhere. Over the past few weeks the big money campaigns have started posting up signs everywhere.......Rudy and Romney especially, I've seen a couple Huckabee signs. These signs are not the product of independent supporters, but of paid campaign staff. This gives me hope that RP is the only one with true support. What scares me is that the media is hyping Rudy to win Florida even though he doesn't really have much support. Let's hope people don't play into the media hype, because on the ground it appears as if Ron is very popular in Florida.

Are you canvassing, knocking on people's doors?

Signs and stickers were good - now you need to do the politics thing. Be a precinct leader.

This is the way it looks around the entire country as far as I can tell. Do not let it lull you into a false sense of security. We have the dedicated grassroots support that the other candidates do not, but we're basically pitting our dedicated supporters against droves of undedicated, mindless zombies that show up to vote for the media darlings. That means, we need a LOT of supporters.

It really is civilization vs. the zombies out there... and we're not allowed to use explosives and flamethrowers :(

I was in kissimmee and celebration fl this weekend, and there was a million rudy signs up... Used to be more RP signs than anyone else, and now the rudy signs are popping up. I saw the guys actually planting them - a couple of guys in suits. i wanted to yell at them, but i refrained from telling them that their candidate is a gasbag.

down in broward county, we dont see much support for other candidates... and most of the people i hand flyers out to have no idea who ron paul is!!

so now is the time to get out EVEN WITHOUT YOUR MEETUP and hold up signs and pass out info!!!

HAHAH. Dead on! Sad thing is that it's not even an analogy, they are fucking zombies.

You Florida supporters should be going out in the wee hours and removing Ghoul signs.

That is excellent. I do have to ask 1 question tho, and you are probably better a person to answer it: Any talks of the blimp among people there? Any sightings? It might be an indication of how effective it actually is..

BTW hope you are also precinct walking (I'm sure you are). I just started doing that in Irvine, CA today and it felt great. Very easy and fun as well.

And no way in hell any of the other candidates can pay enough to have half or even a quarter the number of volunteers (or shall I say revolutionaries) hitting the streets for them! Canvassing is how we will win this!

Signs and stickers mean nothing. NOTHING. Remember all the reports we had about all the signs in Iowa. Ron Paul got 10 %. Remember all the signs on CNN in New Hampshire? 8%.

How well did we cover South Carolina? 4% (Right).

Lots of low income, "work for tips" workers that love Paul in Nevada. 14%.

Freedom isn't popular folks. It's sad but true. Learn from the results, don't fantasize about what could be, deal with what is and figure out how to change it. Because what we are doing now sure the hell isn't working.

True but so what? They have the MSM doing their work for them, and they have "electability" on their side.

We could have twice as many volunteers out there and trust me it won't make a lick of difference.

Freedom is not popular. Sorry, but that's just the way it is.

Florida ads

Any TV ads playing in Florida?

I live in south Florida. I don't watch much TV and I most of what I watch is recorded on DVR. But I see lots of TV ads for Giuliani, quite a bit for Romney, and a few for McCain. I haven't seen one Ron Paul ad. I have heard one radio ad and it was for Ron Paul.
