Great Rand Paul answers to hit piece questions on CBS today (tube added)

He's complaining about pulling troops out of Germany and Japan. You would think that would be the most common sense policy that everybody can get behind.
You'd certainly think so! Whether the neocons like it or not, keeping troops in Germany/Japan, etc. is just not sustainable. The Keynesian drinking party is over, and now we have to deal with the hangover.

Paul has been asked about issues like prostitution in the past, and has responded (without even going into prostitution itself) by saying such matters should be resolved locally. This implies different communities will address it differently, with some states permitting ranches or red light districts, and other states not. There's no one-size-fits-all resolution as to what approach is the best for 'freedom' in a diverse country, so neither the social left nor social right should be imposing themselves on the other. But the purpose of CBS asking questions on it was not to address such nuances, but to keep the Pauls on the defensive, which is why a "like a boss" put down of the question was needed.

They're purple for his alma mater TCU. I went there too and have been a big fan of his up until this campaign where I have lost all respect for him.

That woman could NOT hide her emotions...she has a lot to learn if she's going to hide is well like her elder co-worker.
