Grassroots Push: Hangout with Ron (WANT MILLIONS ON MAY 17TH?)

17th is so widespread, but 18th will be more practicle, besides this could be a way to top it up, usually the money bomb carries on til the next day. Brillian idea, spread the word.
 
We just need to get confirmation from the campaign that Paul would be available for a live chat at X time and we can make this spread like wild fire.
 
Wow ... that is one of the better ideas I have seen for a moneybomb in a while. Of course Dr. Paul will have to give it his blessing to happen.
 
I hope he uses ustream for this. We don't want the stream to crash from the masses of people viewing like it did with Doug Wead last night.

I don't believe so.

Obama hosted a hangout event that pulled thousands. So, I believe all you need is the link and setting the options to public.

I’m sure you heard that the grassroots has been working hard planning and promoting the upcoming Rise for Liberty Moneybomb on May 17th. We are planning to raise the $650k, plus much more. But, we need help from the official campaign. First, the Moneybomb needs to be made official as a means of maximizing donations. Secondly, and most importantly, we want to do a massive online event, like nothing done before.

We would like you to setup a Google Hangout with Ron on May 17th. It could be 10-20 minutes long with little materials or work to set up; only need a webcam. It would allow the grassroots to feel more connected with the campaign, provide updates and would give you the opportunity to easily reach thousands of donators.

The event would be huge. Please, we need your help to pass this along.

Having Dr. Paul and maybe Carol just in the kitchen baking, talking to the donators, reading names off the ticker and thanking people, explaining how the money is going to be effective, setting small goals through out the video feed, taking QnA.


Something DIFFERENT needs to happen with this money-bomb to get the excitement back! We've only got 5 weeks left of the primary season

Forgive me if this has been mentioned as I don't have time to read the whole thread, but.... "hangout" is a noun. Look it up. It means something like, a regular place a group meets and.... hangs out. If you mean to imply that a lucky donor can "be with Ron" for a spell, the proper term is "hang out".

Google "HANGOUT"s

The whole point of this is to do a Google Hangout with Ron.
 
Great idea. But tell them to use vokle.com - they can actually handle thousands of viewers tuning in, and it's free.
