Grassroots/chip-in ad buy for Washington County, worth it?

Alright, this is likely to be a waste of time but:

We can plan a facebook event themed with stopping Romney from winning main. We can spread this event through ads and viral. Maybe we can make this the cool thing to do ... but the event planner will have the contact info for those people that chose to attend.

We can sell Ron Paul themed merchandise on the for sale sections of craigslist and encourage everyone to vote for Ron Paul in the upcoming caucus.

We can plan activities on craigslist as well as participate in the political section ... I think that might reach about 2 dozen people max though.

I don't know, if I lived there I could do a lot more. Its discouraging that no one to my knowledge is on the ground in that is in that area and we don't seem to have many Mainers participating in the "we can still win" discussions.

Go for it. Grassroots can offer an after caucus party to students at the maritime academy and a barbecue with beer for the rest of the people. With enough promotion, several hundred apathetic voters can be turned out.

It's not sexy, but gas money for the folks going door to door may matter more than blanket advertising. We need to reach people, communicate what happened. Beg them to show up and stop Romney.
