Grassroot Attack Ads on McCain : Yes/No?

Only if it compares McCain's views to Ron Paul's views.
With the amount of idiotic voters out there, if they hear bad about McCain they will just vote for Huckabee. Attack ads mean nothing unless they know who Ron Paul is.

*if* you do McCain, try to use the Keating 5 issue, the "bomb bomb iran..song" and perhaps get in contact with Judicialwatch and see if they can issue a word or two on their opinion on McCains' lifelong corruption involvement.

I think its a good idea since huckabee is taking a lot of heat with the joint mccain/thompson war.

If we can attack Mccain then Paul looks good in the eyes of many huckabee supporters...ultimately we need to convert many of them.

Lastly it gives a reason for huckabee then to turn on thompson instead of a two front war and take thompson out.

We need thompson out. Then its easy to take down romney with the truth about his career, jobs, etc.

He holds the key to everything falling down and out of ron's way.

No duncan, no thompson and a large electorate group will hold their nose on Romney

Romney then will fall with a single electability focus on flip floping and what he and his company does gets rid of jobs and is only focused on profits...his record shows that according to CNN the other night.

So goodbye competition. Its all about electability...build ron up...tear the others down...

In a huckabee vs Ron match where we show the whole truth on illegal immigration and rons record on faith, economics its a dog fight we want.

Just put up some comparison sheets on their illegal immigration voting for instance by two groups in the past.

showing he is getting a D, Duncan hunter and tancredo A's and Paul the only one passing with a B+.

Same thing with other things.

Show the pack as a group. Let the consumers choose.

People watch the newspapers and TV and then vote based on what they see and hear.

voters are believing from exit polls that McCain is getting the troops out.

The illegal immigration group believes he actually isnt for amnesty...

If you get away with lies the electorate will vote hands down for the best liar.

So unless someone brings up the truth and keeps doing it the others messages are only equal at best.

They could all work together on parts of this and bring in partners to go after multiple candidates at once.

But the money is the problem and the time involved to get this ad set out.

would cost a lot to get the message out...1,000,000 dollars of air time to just get started. Would want like 4-5 million to saturate the states.

As always money is the issue. We know the campaign is very bad at ads. Their best stuff looks like osmosis for the message. They have hired "friends" that are talented finally on the production quality.

But the messages are very easily forgettable, other than the illegal immigration ad, which could have been done argueably better. It should have shown grading of the other candidates pre the election..etc.\

I personally think that focus needs redone on a corruption vs truth ad. Showing the basic like everyone had dismal records C-F grades on illegal immigration prior to the election except ron who had a B+. The reason for that was that he did not trust CFR guys with the real id. If he voted for these bills he would have had an A.

next frame... "Multiple clips of McCain HIMSELF saying "100 more years"... just like korea... endless occupation".

last frame.. show montage of troops being antiwar or simply show the horrors of war... "if you are for peace.. and think that our bravest should be protecting our borders and not Iraqs... then know this: McCain is the only candidate running who publicly promises to keep our soldiers in Iraq for 100 more years"

Ultimately these cant be done poorly.

Also they surely want someone else to do it since there plausible deniability built in.

Works well to shield the candidate while still hurting the opponent.

Voters do not respond well to the person airing the negative ad, but remember the information in the negative ad.
