Granny Warriors Have A ChipIn For A Vote Recount

We need to find out what Alex Jones is going to do. He said yesterday that if the campaign will not pay for the recount he was going to set up a fundraising effort.

With all due respect, this is from the NH statute regarding requesting a recount:

660:1 Application. – Any candidate for whom a vote was cast for any office at a state general election may apply for a recount. The application shall be made in writing to the secretary of state and shall be submitted no later than the Friday following the election. Each candidate requesting a recount shall pay the secretary of state fees as provided in RSA 660:2.

If I am understanding correctly, not only does the recount have to be requested by someone who got a vote, but it has to be requested by the Friday following.. in other words, by tomorrow. The ChipIn runs through Jan 18??

In addition, according to the fee schedule, it looks like the most it would cost a candidate is $2000. The total raised in the Chip In is now over $5K..

You are correct. It was requested Friday afternoon by Albert Howard who was on the ballot for President in N.H.

to start the process its $2000. Fees incurred through the process will likely run near $65,000 total and take a couple of weeks to complete i am guessing thus the 18th.

and actually the chip in is up to $30,000 so far (in one day) I donated $20. and $25 to the main campaign(ronpaulspayday.com pledge). and ill donate $10 to the california group for their extra ad in the paper. MLK moneybomb im doubling my last moneybomb donation. im going to put in $200.

this will be a broke month for me, but its a tiny investment compared to the potential payoff of freedom.

i heard they have started the proceedings already, and the recount may start on Wednesday, unless some "higher powers" stop it

waste of time

"My campaign staff and I have analyzed the numbers in New Hampshire and I have reached the conclusion that it was the high turnout -- not vote fraud or counting errors -- that left us with eight percent of the vote. Our total vote count of over 18,000 votes was well within what we projected given the efforts of our extensive statewide get-out-the-vote program, giving me no reason to believe that vote fraud played any role in the results of the Granite State’s primary."

I disagree, it would be stupid to withdraw, money and support is there. It will also send a message to other states that the american people will not tolerate vote fraud.

In light of todays statment for Dr. P's statement re NH recount today I think the recount effort should be withdrawn if possible

Some of us may have overreacted based on scant evidence

The will be a recount. The process has been started and there is no sane reason to recall the decision.

If Ron Paul thinks he will not ask for a recount then so be it. However it does not mean that We The People can not do otherwise.

The recount will send a clear signal to all crooks willing to tamper with the results that we are watching and willing to take action if we sense something fishy.
