There's no way. Downloading direct from google is almost a gift from god.... Its wonderful.

Also, thanks to the original poster for this. I just watched the first segment, it was great! Thanks

I would like to see a DVD-quality version of this as a torrent. Or maybe my library has a copy....

IMPORTANT

We have made a grave error. The original constitution didn't have a "bill of rights". The anti-federalist argued for some sort of bill of rights. But the federalist argued that it wasn't needed and eventually gave in to get the anti-federalist to agree to it.

This is a grave error because as we are seeing now, ink on paper doesn't stop the people from loosing their liberty. It never has and never will. Federalist knew that. Today we have forgotten that.

The constitution can only do so much. It's limited in what it truly can set forth without regular intervention from 'us', the voters.

The Federalist fought for the constitution on the grounds that we would kick out any member of congress who didn't protect liberty. The anti-federalist thought wrongly that some bill of rights would somehow help protect their rights.

Today, how effective has the constitution been? Why? Because we relied on ink on paper to do our job for us. We alone as voters are responsible for the degrading of our republic.

There might be a point that recently, electronic voting machines have taken our power to vote away. I suggest even that can not be blamed for our lack of due diligence in watching the government destroy our liberties one step at a time.

Listen closely to PART 6 --> 41:39-43:45

Excellent series. Too bad the "anti-federalists" were out talked.. but then what would have happened with a weaker central government? Could we have remained united? We all have the same questions today and many think they have the answers but the fact is it is easier to see what is wrong than to provide an improvement to any charter. Opportunities to establish a new government, by a people largely willing to adopt a new government occur very infrequently.

The Revolution
