The US could use a purging, a purging of EVERY current person in the senate and congress, minus the true liberty candidates like Rand.

Obviously if that is the SOLE reasoning for throwing your support to someone, you would be walking down a bad logical path. All I did was make a suggestion that hinted at the fact that perhaps...just maybe...Trump isnt 100% the bogeyman that posters on RPF try to make him. The world is not always black and white. There are shades of gray and sometimes even bad people can do things that help or are in line with your own causes. Trump can on balance be a very terrible candidate/president and still accomplish things that many here would approve of. A positive statement on Trump is not a wholesale endorsement.

Trump is not 100% the boogieman that we are describing. If anything he is worse than we are describing. So... 125%? 150%?

I do not believe that Donald Trump will "accomplish" even one single solitary thing that most us on RPFs would approve of. The man is all talk talk talk talk but every iota of evidence puts him left of and more authoritarian than Hillary.

A single positive statement is by no means an endorsement of the Mr Petit Mao, but you do seem to have an awful...lot...of positive statements.

It seems that all of the tired old shopworn arguments that the establishment used against Ron Paul from 2007-2012 demanding we support the establishment pick, have now been retreaded and pressed back into service by a small subset of 'former' Ron Paul supporters to try and guilt us into supporting Rump.

Nahh, I just think he's funny to listen to. I mean the whole presidential election is a big joke and scam now anyway. Why not get on with it and watch the world burn?

Supporting Trump because you think the GOPe hate him is like...

"Hey, the companies who make walkers are dishonest profiteers who make millions off of the misery of others! I'm going to cut both my own legs off at the hip just to spite them!" And then you end up in a wheelchair made by the same company.

Well I am of the opinion that this just shines a light that there really is no difference between the two parties and it also tells me the establishment is running scared.
