GOP Rep. Devin Nunes resigns from Congress to become CEO of Trump’s media company

Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., will resign from Congress to become chief executive of former President Donald Trump’s fledgling social media company next month, the group said Monday.

Nunes, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, will start as CEO of Trump Media & Technology Group, or TMTG, in January, the firm said in a press release.

Nunes, who boasts being a dairy farmer, will begin his new career despite having no apparent prior experience working in the tech industry or as an executive.

Regardless of who is running it I suspect the network will appeal to the right and Trump's populist base while promoting candidates for office that will mostly do the opposite overall.

Of course the network and it's supporters will report on one aspect they did right, or some divisive issue they are the right about (the next Jessie Smollet for example) and for that claim they are the most Conservative ever. Despite that in time the country will continue to move further to the left's authoritarian state with a helping hand from the fake right.

Too bad for Congress. Hopefully it works out for him. If a person doesn't work out with Trump they are history.

All their relationships eventually end very badly at some point. I guess everyone thinks it is going to be different for them when they take a position. It never is.
