GOP press release

Again, from a D1 person (along the lines of the other post on this): I think we're going to get some delegates in Dist 1 & 2. There were 169 provisionals in District 1 and our last place RP delegate is 79 votes behind 15th place and our best RP candidate is only 33 votes behind 15th place. If we score just 105 provisionals (probably can't get that many, but we can
pray) we'd take over 8-15 delegate slots not accounting for any of the top
15 getting more votes. In any case we should get a few in District 1 at the least.

Well, no doubt they'll be using every trick to disqualify provisional ballots that voted for RP. However, there is one piece of good news even with a 2nd place finish....RP beat Romney. RP has now beaten every candidate at least once!

Does anyone have a copies of McCain's slates to see which PLPF people are his? Maybe all of his are the ones in jeopardy. And thus the press release for the news cycle.

Many of McCain's delegates had their names on more than one slate.

A slate just means that they had people handing out a sheet of paper with 15 names on it...

“I applaud the supporters of Congressman Paul for their enthusiasm and superior organizational ability,” Villere said. “Our Party needs the infusion of new activists who have both political skill and a passion for protecting the freedoms guaranteed to us by the Constitution,” he said. “I left the caucus with a renewed commitment to promote our core Republican principles of limited government and individual freedom, thanks to the zeal displayed by Congressman Paul’s Louisiana supporters,” Villere said.

Too bad they will remember how you shafted them out of a win and how the GOP really works.

They only hurt themselves doing shit like this.

this is only sounding positive to me, we got a long way to go people stay focused!

You know if we are close to majority and we can't get enough pro-life delegates, we could make a deal with the romney delegates to make a majority coalition to steal from a possible mccain majority.

We can use the same tactics on them. we should seriously consider this option if we don't have majority. I'm sure the Romney people would be up for it...especially to leave McCain with 0.

Brilliant !!! Good idea

Thankyou for posting info right from the horse's mouth. Its still too early to start claiming a win or a loss. It'll come out in the wash on Feb 9th.

Hang in there people. Those delegates are "uncomitted". They can stil change thier minds.

My hat is off to all the RP supporters who turned out last night to show thier support for our man. Bravo Zulu, as we say in the Navy.

Pro-Life Pro-Family is uncommitted to a candidate but very committed to "Pro-Life, Pro-Family"

Except for the 90% of their delegates who are loyal to Fred Thompson....

That cock sucker will have to pry the vote out of my cold dead fingers before I vote for one of their republicans.

Ron Paul did awesome in Louisiana!

I'm excited the Louisiana GOP acknowledged a strong second place showing, our second one! Louisiana activists must have done an amazing job! I guess its even possible Ron Paul will come in first when the provisional ballots are tallied, wow! even better!

Ron Paul has placed second in the Nevada and Louisiana caucuses, and has now beaten Romney (Louisiana) & McCain (Nevada) once each, Huckabee twice ( Nevada & Louisiana), Giuliani 5 times! (Iowa, SC, Nevada, Michigan, Louisiana), Thompson 5 times.

The Ron Paul Revolution may save me from a life of jail after all!

Go Super Tuesday Ron Paul activists!
